The most precious wedding photos are often the ones that aren’t staged. As a photographer, Bert Bossaert is always on the lookout for genuine moments. He strives to be both present and unobtrusive. You can forget about the camera whilst he focuses on the events, details and compositions, paying close attention to the surroundings. This results in spontaneous images that capture the essence of the day.

Approach

Introductory meeting

Bert always likes to start with an introductory meeting. During this, he likes to hear what your wishes and expectations are. This ensures you’re immediately on the same page. This meeting can take place either in person (he lives in Sint-Amandsberg) or online, whichever suits you best.

Wedding Day

Clear arrangements ensure you have a stress-free day and can enjoy every moment. He knows what to expect, so you can trust that everything will go to plan. Do you have any questions on the day itself? Feel free to give him a nudge!

Selection and post-processing

After the wedding, Bert gets to work on the images as soon as possible. Within two days, he’ll send you an initial selection of 10 images. You can expect the full album after four to five weeks.

About Bert Bossaert

Bert Bossaert has now been photographing weddings for over ten years. Whilst he always captures wedding celebrations digitally, for his personal work he mainly opts for analogue photography. He develops and prints these images himself in the darkroom and regularly exhibits them. This artisanal process has shaped his way of seeing: it compels him to create thoughtful compositions and capture the perfect moment. In analogue photography, every image counts; he brings that focus and experience to every wedding shoot. On his website, you will therefore find both commissioned work and his personal photography.
