On the banks of the Scheldt, with a breathtaking view of Antwerp in all its splendour, you will find Strantwerpen. A unique beach location where every event immediately feels special.

The covered and heated pavilion exudes freshness and elegance with its sleek white interior and contemporary furniture. The spacious 120 m² terrace is covered with stylish stretch tents, so you can enjoy the fabulous view of the city even in less favourable weather. And the pearly white sandy beach? That completes the atmosphere.

Whether you are celebrating your big day, organising a company or family day, or planning a meeting in an inspiring setting, Strantwerpen has those unique assets that give your event that little bit extra.

Party rooms

A ceremony with your feet in the sand? A bouncy castle during a family day? Cosy corners for a corporate event? On the beach, every moment automatically becomes more memorable and characterful.

Strantwerpen has a 200 m² covered pavilion with a 120 m² covered terrace and 500 m² of sandy beach. There is also the option of providing an extra tent on the beach.

Capacity:

• Theatre style: up to 100 people
• Walking dinner without buffets (excluding terrace): up to 200 people
• Walking dinner with buffets (excluding terrace): up to 150 people
• Fitted kitchen: up to 100 people
• Party: up to 400 people

Even in winter, Strantwerpen is every bit as good as other venues. The team transforms the site into an atmospheric boho chalet, still offering that magical view of the city and its twinkling lights. A fairytale winter event in a unique location: they can't think of a more beautiful place to welcome you and your guests.

Catering

Every event is fully tailored to your wishes and expectations. They do this in close collaboration with their caterer Comesta. Would you prefer to work with your own approved caterer? That is also perfectly possible. The possibilities are endless. Standard catering formulas can be a source of inspiration, but don't let them limit your wishes!

Imagine your celebration: enjoy a reception that transitions into a walking dinner, or perhaps you would prefer a barbecue? Both are possible. Welcome new guests with a dessert buffet or savoury snacks; the possibilities are endless. Finish off with a spectacular dance party.

Overnight stays

Strantwerpen does not offer overnight accommodation itself... but a short ride on the Waterbus will take you to the centre of Antwerp, where there is an abundance of accommodation options!

Parking

Strantwerpen is easily accessible on Linkeroever and there is free parking within walking distance.

A unique advantage is the possibility to use De Waterbus. This sustainable and fast alternative to the car takes you quickly to and from Antwerp across the Scheldt.
