The bright side
‘I myself got married in June on Gaston’s rooftop terrace and I can assure you: as a bride(egom), you check the weather forecast non-stop for the weeks before your wedding," Naomi jokingly interjects. "Those who get married in spring or summer usually really hope for a sunny day; that brings extra stress to a lot of couples. What if it rains? Does plan B also 100% fulfil our dreams?"
In winter, on the other hand, you are mentally prepared for weaker weather. The bright side? You can only be pleasantly surprised then. Whatever the weather, your dream wedding will become a reality; there is simply no need for a plan B. Besides, the chances of the party room of your dreams still being free on your date are a lot higher.
Naomi: ‘At Gaston, we are prepared for everything. In winter, we organise your ceremony inside. We then dress everything up cosy. On our roof terrace we warm your guests with crackling torches. The view of the breathtaking Ghent skyline completes the picture."
Atmospheric, industrial indoor venue
Gaston' s rooftop is without a doubt the eye-catcher of your winter wedding. Your reception here will be a warm experience and the view provides the ideal backdrop for a fairytale photo shoot.
And there is more. ‘As the days are shorter in winter, we then move indoors for dinner and the dance party,’ Naomi explains. ‘The homely atmosphere, warm decor and industrial elements make our party room an up-and-coming idyllic wedding venue.’
Sublime house catering
For more than 20 years, Coeur Catering has been Gaston's house caterer. With a love of local produce, they create a tasty menu in winter too. A mix of savoury dishes and sweet delicacies is composed entirely according to your wishes. Do you want a real winter wedding? A cosy winter barbecue completes the circle.
‘The tastiest dishes are prepared outside on our OFYR,’ says Naomi. ‘Choose a walking dinner to let your guests enjoy this extra experience or slide your feet under the table and be served by our team.’
