1. Wild, wilder, wildest

Bridal bouquets are becoming looser and more playful. The classic, measured and symmetrical bridal bouquet is giving way to a wilder and more casual version. Back to nature! More and more brides dream of a bohemian-style bouquet that looks as if it was picked haphazardly in the field.

2. From pastel to burgundy

Classic pastel shades and traditional white continue to score in bridal bouquets and wedding decorations. But during the autumn and winter months, couples also dare to choose a different colour palette, such as bordeaux or even almost black shades. Those who opt for the boho style and the wild ‘field flower look’ mix the most diverse shades to create a colourful palette. Bold, romantic and cheerful...

3. ‘Forgotten’ flowers are coming back

‘Old-fashioned’ - almost forgotten - flowers, which had completely disappeared from view for a while, are hip again. Besides the classic roses, the dahlia, for example, is re-emerging. But very delicate, fragile flowers are also popular. They fit perfectly into the field bouquet look. Just think of clematis, sweet peas, scabiosa, astrantia and waxflower.

4. More greenery

In contemporary decoration, there is more greenery. While previously, combinations of flower next to flower were mostly chosen, green elements such as wild eucalyptus, olive leaf and fern leaf now also get a starring role.

5. Hanging greenery is hip

Hanging greenery scores. Plants and flowers hanging above the party table or the dance floor are popular. Dare to play with all kinds of constructions and creations: only with greenery or with abundant flowers in a colourful palette... Hanging decoration is in any case a nice eye-catcher, fills the room and immediately gives the party location atmosphere.

6. Backdrops and floral walls

Inspired by Mark Colle's floral walls on the catwalks of haute couture brand Dior, this trend also found its way into wedding decoration. Say ‘I want’ in front of a floral wall during your ceremony, and dress up your party room with walls full of the most beautiful, colourful flowers.

7. More is more!

Don't be too frugal with your floral and greenery decorations. Excess is allowed. For example, sprinkle your festive tables with decorations and greenery that fit the theme of your wedding. Glitter, rose petals, eucalyptus... It can be over the top. Candles and tealights can also lavishly adorn your festive tables. The more, the better!
