1. The timeless classic
The 'classic' wedding costume will be ín again in 2024. A classic suit is three-piece - consisting of trousers, a sleeveless suit waistcoat and a suit jacket; typically it comes in a dark blue or grey colour. Extra nice: even after your wedding, you can still wear this timeless suit. Want to add a bit of modernity to the classic look? Then go for a tie with a cool print, or a bow tie in a striking colour!
2. An all-black wedding suit
An all-black wedding suit is a real statement piece that will steal the show! For this trend, combine a black suit with a black shirt, black shoes and black accessories. This elegant, monochrome look is guaranteed to get you noticed.
3. From rust to dark purple
Besides the classic dark blue, grey and black, this year purple and bordeaux tones, such as aubergine, and rust shades are totally on trend for your wedding suit. Those (light) purple and rust shades are also reflected in Pantone's trend colour for 2024: Peach Fuzz - a soft and warm peach colour between orange and pink. Are you a fan of any of these trend colours? Then pull the colour across the board in your wedding.
4. Double breasted suit
The double breasted suit is also among the wedding suit trends of 2024. In the same vein as the classic suit, this suit offers just that little bit more - an extra sophisticated look. The double row of buttons on the vest emphasise the waist and make the shoulders appear optically wider. The fit or fit is hugely important here. Do you opt for this trend? Then be sure to go for a tailored one!
5. Accessories: the more the merrier
2024 is the year of accessories. They complete your outfit and add more personality. Think of a nice pocket watch, engraved cufflinks or matching braces. Feel free to go all the way: the more, the merrier!
