Hof ter Zielbeek, located in Puurs, Antwerp, is a historic and atmospheric estate steeped in rich history. Surrounded by lush greenery, this romantic venue has its roots deep in the past. The party room exudes timeless charm and surprises you with a modern twist. Since 2 October 2023, Karolien has been running Hof ter Zielbeek together with her fiancé Kevin. Power couple with a heart for events
As wedding planner, master of ceremonies and speaker of Trouwburo Karo, Karolien brings her passion for organising and designing events to Hof ter Zielbeek, where her fiancé Kevin pampers your taste buds with a gourmet dinner. "Both of us have a deep-rooted love for creating unforgettable moments. When Kevin bumped into Hof ter Zielbeek, our plans to develop our concept here quickly took shape. Together we transformed it into a venue where romance, good food and hospitality merge. By combining our expertise as wedding planners and caterers, we want to offer couples a service that goes beyond renting outan enchanting party room."
Trendy twist
The imposing Hof ter Zielbeek dates back to the 17th century and has undergone several transformations over the centuries. ‘The party room is located in the old coach house, which was completely renovated by the owners,’ says Karolien. "The building exudes enormous charm as a lot of old elements have been preserved. Couples are often surprised when they visit Hof ter Zielbeek. The open wooden trusses give the location a typical farmhouse style. As you continue walking, you soon see that all the furnishings have a trendy edge. So there is something for everyone."
Sun-drenched cosiness
‘When the sun shines, we move outside’, says Karolien. "We have a spacious terrace and a green garden with outdoor bar and luxury OFYR barbecue for guests to enjoy to the full. Walking further through the garden's gate, you enter the adjacent park with graceful bridges and winding paths. This oasis of peace and elegance is the perfect setting for an idyllic photo shoot in the greenery. For the little ones, the park also has a playground that you can keep a handy eye on from the terrace."
Culinary catering for your wedding
The gastronomic story of Hof ter Zielbeek is led by Kevin, a chef with refined tastes. "Our catering offer ranges from classic dinners to shared dishes. Kevin completely customises the menu based on the couple's wishes. Have a different favourite caterer? That too is possible."

Karolien and Kevin are hugely compatible. Karolien takes care of planning and sales and is the permanent point of contact. Kevin provides a gastronomic experience. "Our job is our passion and we get enormous energy from it. We have a clear division of tasks and meet in the middle to connect the dots. From start to finish, we guide couples to realise their dream wedding and we really enjoy it,’ Karolien says proudly.
