As a bride, you probably dream of the moment you find the wedding dress. At the same time, that search can sometimes feel overwhelming. There can be (far too) many options, lots of opinions and very little guidance. The modern bridal shopping experience, on the other hand, revolves around feeling, personal support and focused choices. With its new Eva Lendel brand room, Mari Fin Bridal goes one step further to help you find your dream dress without decision stress.

What is the modern bridal shopping experience?
When you go to a bridal boutique today, the appointment isn’t just about finding a wedding dress. It’s about how you feel during the fitting and whether you recognise yourself in the dress. Mari from Mari Fin Bridal explains: “Today, brides expect much more than ‘just’ trying on a dress. It’s about the experience, guidance and accessibility. As a bride, you want to feel heard, understand what suits you, and above all recognise yourself in the mirror. It’s not about trying on as many dresses as possible, but about creating the right feeling that fits your personality and your wedding.”
Mari Fin Bridal also takes into account brides’ different situations, including budget and timing. “That’s why we work, on the one hand, with new made-to-measure collections, and on the other hand with a permanent archive sale and sample sale. This way, every bride—also last-minute or with a smaller budget—can find her dress. For us, the most important thing is your personal journey.”

The first Eva Lendel ‘brand room’ in Belgium
As the first bridal boutique in Belgium, Mari Fin Bridal opened its Eva Lendel brand room in early April. This means that, from now on, you’ll be the first to shop the brand’s new collections here, in a unique store-in-store concept. Mari explains: “A brand room is fully dedicated to one designer. The space, styling and atmosphere are aligned with the brand’s DNA, so you truly step into the designer’s world. As a bride, you also get access to a wider collection and the latest Eva Lendel designs.”
Brides shopping in the brand room will also leave with more than just their dream dress. “If you choose an Eva Lendel gown, you’ll receive a personal gift from the brand, along with a branded garment bag and hanger. Everything is spot on, right down to the details!” Mari shares enthusiastically.

Less decision overload
According to Mari, the experience in a brand room is already more intense and more personal than in a traditional shop. She explains: “In a traditional bridal shop, you see many different brands and styles mixed together, which can sometimes feel overwhelming. In a brand room, everything is much clearer and calmer. You can more easily focus on a particular style and on one feeling. Many brides feel more quickly: ‘this is me!’.”
Personal guidance
Personal guidance is also central at Mari Fin Bridal, even outside the brand room. For Mari, this is an essential part of today’s bridal experience. “We don’t work as salespeople, but as stylists and as a trusted confidant. In doing so, we really listen to you: to your story, your doubts and your vision as a bride,” she says. “Sometimes a bride doesn’t yet know what she’s looking for, and that’s completely ok. Then we guide you step by step until you recognise yourself and say: this feels like me.”
Mari and her team help each bride make a focused choice. “We start with different designs and styles to discover what feels best for you, and we make sure it doesn’t become overwhelming. At the end of your first appointment, we look at patterns together. Did you, for example, keep choosing glitter—or just not? That way we provide direction for a next appointment, where we can often look within one brand.”
Mari continues: “With the brand room, we go even further in that personal guidance. Our philosophy remains the same every time: quality over quantity, and feeling over choice stress.”

Wedding dress trends: personality, corsets & modern elegance
TIP: Not sure what kind of wedding dress you want yet? Then current trends can definitely inspire you. Mari is happy to list them for you: “We’re seeing a strong shift towards more personality and modern elegance. Right now, we’re seeing lots of drop waist silhouettes, corsets and bustier tops—think Wuthering Heights and Bridgerton. Clean silhouettes and structured lines also remain important. In the new collections we’re seeing more lace, often finer and more modern, and sometimes with a subtle bohemian touch.”
Accessories are also getting their time to shine: “We’re seeing many brides today choose something that truly suits them. Alongside the classic veil, neck scarves and lace bandanas are also making contemporary bridal looks more personal. Today, above all, the bride wants to see a version of herself—not just a ‘classic bride’.”
