1. What you see is what you get
If you opt for a ‘naked cake’, your cake is minimally finished so the cake itself is still visible. Moreover, it is a healthy(er) alternative to the classic layer cake, as a naked cake has only a thin outer layer of sugar and/or fondant. Add edible flowers for a beautiful, rustic result, or opt for dried flowers, which are taped in before adding them to the cake.
2. Fresh and fruity
Not only is fruit hugely healthy, it's also just plain delicious. Moreover, fruit is a very rewarding form of decoration. Combine different fruits such as strawberries, apples and grapes to create a real colour spectacle on your cake. That way, your healthy wedding cake will be the cherry on top of your wedding! Or was it the other way around?
3. Allergy-free
Are you allergic to gluten? Or does your partner have a nut allergy? Say no more! Wedding cakes are always made to measure and can also be perfectly adapted to allergies. Many professionals guarantee the perfect cake for your wedding, which will look fantastic and also fully satisfy your wishes in terms of flavour and composition.
4. Go vegan
Veganism has been on the rise for several years and it is no different for wedding cakes. Our suppliers notice that more and more people are opting for a vegan cake. Not sure if you want a cake that is completely vegan? Then the golden mean is to make one part of your stack cake vegan, and have the rest prepared the traditional way. That way, there is something for everyone.
A lot of House of Weddings partners offer vegan options and take allergies into account!
5. Raw cakes
Would you like a vegan and allergy-free cake? Then raw cakes are for you! Raw cakes have blown over to us from the United States and are a great option for those who love a healthy wedding cake. As the name itself suggests, raw cakes contain little or no cooked foods. In addition, raw cakes are additive-, glucose- and gluten-free and contain no dairy products, eggs or refined sugars. So they are the ideal option for those who want to be healthy as well as original!
