We may live in Belgium, but the chances of a beautiful day during summer are high. Enjoy it to the full and organise (part of) your wedding party outside. How nice, to be joined in matrimony during a radiant outdoor ceremony? Moreover, during the summer months you have more options to find a wedding venue that suits you, because you can start thinking outdoors in many ways. Do you opt for a beach wedding? Do you head into the woods? Do you like to get married in the outdoor garden of a romantic castle? Or in your own garden, with a marquee? The possibilities are endless!
Light clothing
Getting married in summer means you can really stand out with the attire you have chosen. A groom, for example, can opt for a suit in a soft pastel colour or in a light Italian fabric. As a bride, you can also go in many directions with your wedding dress. In summer, you can certainly show off a hint of tanned skin. Think for example of a strapless wedding dress, a dress with a deep back neckline or even a short dress. You can also opt for a thin, supple fabric such as organza. It is nice and airy, blows nicely in a summer breeze and radiates real summer vibes. Your guests can also swing in a light fabric - perfect in warm temperatures!

When you get married in summer, you can adapt every aspect of your wedding to this. Think of styling your ceremony entirely with colourful flowers or let your ceremony take place amidst green fruit trees - totally back to nature. A bohemian theme is also very popular during the summer months. You can also extend the summer feeling to the drinks and food you serve your guests. Provide some colourful cocktails and go for exotic fruit in your dessert buffet. And will your evening party also take place outdoors? Then hang ribbons and lights in trees and bushes to create atmosphere throughout the evening and night.

Summer is the ideal season for both of you to enjoy a sunny photo shoot. For example, many flowers are in bloom in summer - a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photos. And maybe you already have a light tan? That will make you look extra radiant in the photos. Moreover, it stays clear for a very long time in summer, so your photographer and videographer can continue to take beautiful images at your wedding until very late. Not to mention that beautiful sunset! Just before sunset, by the way, the golden hour moment creates a beautiful red glow.... Magical moments you will cherish forever!
