As cosy as the gentle rumble of falling rain can be, on your wedding day it makes everything just a little more complex. Especially if you had your eye on an outdoor wedding, in a tent in your garden. But not to worry! There are answers for all your yet-to-be-thought-of questions.

Photogenic umbrella(s)
Make sure you are prepared for rain at your wedding and provide plenty of photogenic umbrellas for you and your suite. An umbrella is the perfect solution for getting from A to B on foot, and there are lots of cool, elegant models on the market today. Whether you go for transparent, white, écru or colour: an umbrella will keep you dry and safe, and let you shine on your beautiful wedding day!

Practical from the car park
Your wedding party starts where your guests arrive: in the car park. Even when it rains at your wedding. Are you planning a meadow as a car park? Then don't give mud a chance! Know that there are things like ‘driving plates’ so that cars cannot get stuck. For the frilly party shoes of ladies and gentlemen, there are plastic shoe covers to give your guests when driving up. A brightly coloured umbrella, in your theme colour and with your initials on it, is also an instantly practical gift! If your guests park far from the marquee, a shuttle bus is just as nice.
Marquee with accessories
Spring, summer, autumn or winter - in Belgium it is always best to take the ‘rain at your wedding’ scenario into account. Are you planning an outdoor party? Then be sure to order a solid wooden floor and a walkway together with your marquee, and make sure the walls are closed so that rain and wind cannot get in. Our advice: always order all walls with it - just in case the temperature suddenly drops or there is a slanting rain.

Retouches and reserves
Chances are, if it rains at your wedding, you will want to get your hair and make-up touched up in between your various wedding events. Also think about reserves: an extra pair of shoes (or colourful rubber boots!) for you, and an extra jacket or shirt for him. It never rains all day (not even in Belgium), but: a warned bride is worth three!
Rain-proof photo location
To be sure of enough beautiful photos of the two of you, discuss possible shooting locations with your photographer beforehand. A professional wedding photographer is perfectly capable of taking the most beautiful images of you even when it is raining at your wedding, with or without raindrops!
