Cava and champagne are absolute classics at weddings. What festive, sparkling aperitifs! But did you know that you can also serve a lot of surprising and original alternatives to bubbles?

1. Cocktails!
Cocktails can be mixed to match the atmosphere of your wedding. For example, have cocktails in the colours of your styling or theme, and pimp them with tasty pieces of fruit, vegetables or herbs that fit the same colour palette.
And are you already familiar with the 'signature cocktail'? These are cocktails that your caterer creates especially for your wedding party. One for you and one for your partner in crime - with a customised flavour each time.

2. Trendy aperitifs
Are you such a trendsetter and want to keep up with the latest drinks? In recent years, Gin & Tonic has scored particularly high as the trendiest drink. Did you know that you can now invite the super hip Gin & Tonic Bar by Copperhead Gin to your wedding? This mobile G&T bar looks very special, like an old pharmacy cabinet - a perfect addition to your rustic outdoor or boho styling. The bartender on duty will mix the perfect gin & tonic of your choice for you and your guests.

Anno summer 2017, we also see other trendy drinks popping up, based on a generous portion of French cider or in true tiki-style with South American 'spirits' such as Sotol, Clairin and Mezcal
3. Pimp your cava
A Spanish Cava or Italian Prosecco is always deliciously festive and refreshing. Surprise your guests by pimping these sparkling bubbles with a fruit liqueur: add a touch of peach, raspberry or lime. Or add a fresh piece of fruit to each glass, such as pieces of peach, strawberry or watermelon.

4. No alcohol
'Mocktails'-aka non-alcoholic cocktails-are fine alternatives to the alcoholic varieties, and it's fun for all the 'BOBs and BOBbette's' on duty to celebrate like all the other guests with a cocktail in hand, without that percentage of alcohol. You can also give the mocktails the exact same look as its alcoholic sister. Fresh lemonade or tea based on lime and lemon, supplemented with fresh fruits such as peach, mango or passion fruit... Served with slices of lime and lemon, masses of ice cubes, a cheerful straw and in a pretty glass: delicious!

5. Punch
Super congenial, such a big bowl with ladle around which your guests gather. Did you know that the drink may have originated in India? Originally, it was a mix of tea, alcohol, lemon, sugar and water. Today, the main ingredients are fruit and orange juice and you add rum, whisky or no alcohol at all to this fresh drink. Enjoy!
