Intimate Ceremony
Simon and Laurens are a real-life couple, and when wedding planner Pop The Question and photographer Love Tales by Elvire invited them to participate in this styled shoot, they immediately agreed. In this elopement wedding story, they marry privately, without any guests.
The elopement wedding was trending even before COVID-19 and became even more popular during the pandemic. Venturing out for a romantic and intimate ceremony together... Pop The Question and Love Tales by Elvire demonstrate that an elopement doesn't have to take place on an exotic island through their beautiful shoot. They headed to the stunning natural domain Warredal in Limburg, located at the edge of Hoge Kempen National Park, where cozy tiny houses in the forest provide a perfect getaway.

A natural and back-to-basics look fits perfectly with this concept. The wedding stationery features the inspiring words: "Nothing fancy, just love." No grand styling, but wedding decoration with meticulously thought-out details.
The catering consisted of a brunch with numerous snacks, fresh fruit, and crispy bread. Delightfully honest food, beautifully presented with a glass of bubbles, on the terrace of the Cozy Cabin where the couple stayed.

For the styling, they deliberately chose to work mainly with fresh flowers. The color palette included soft shades, with yellow and peach as accent colors. The retro backpack with flowers enhanced the playful and adventurous character of the couple.

Before getting into wedding mode, Simon and Laurens enjoyed climbing in the available course. A chance to relax for the couple! "We love individuality, and couples who choose a day that perfectly suits them," photographer Elvire shares with us.

Expressive Emotions
In terms of photography, every effort was made to create a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, resulting in expressive moments and emotions captured on film. "Some couples want very posed and staged images, while others do not," describes Elvire. "It’s important for a couple to discuss this with their photographer leading up to their wedding day."
The ceremony itself took place at the beautifully organic-looking wedding chapel on the Warredal grounds, a location specially built by the Warredal team for marrying couples: ideal for romantic proposals and intimate ceremonies!

"Are you interested in an elopement wedding, but still want your friends and family to be part of this important step? Then send a lovely announcement card to friends and family immediately after your elopement day. Invite them to view your wedding photos on your personal wedding website, allowing them to share in the experience. If you wish, you can also invite them for a celebration later. Best of both worlds!" says wedding planner Pop The Question.
