How to travel to the Seychelles?

Your flight will drop you off at Seychelles International Airport on Mahé, the largest of the Seychelles’ 115 islands. There are around 10 weekly flights between Brussels and the Seychelles taking 13 to 15 hours, with one or two stopovers. Many flights to the Seychelles depart from the Gulf states, meaning you’ll connect in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or Qatar.
From Europe, you can book direct flights to the Seychelles from London (British Airways), Frankfurt (Condor), and Paris (Air France). If you opt for an overnight flight, you’ll arrive in the morning feeling fresh and well-rested on the archipelago. To reach Praslin Island, you can take a domestic flight of around 20 minutes from Mahé, or catch the ferry from Mahé. If you want to continue from Praslin to the less commercial La Digue, it’s best to take the ferry from there as well.
On Mahé and Praslin, getting around is easy with a rental car or local bus services to explore the islands. Roads are paved here. On the other, smaller islands, this is not always the case.
Best time to travel for your honeymoon to the Seychelles

The Seychelles have a tropical climate with a high average annual temperature of around 26°C—something that attracts tourists from all over the world. Thanks to the monsoon rains, the year is divided into a dry and a wet season. From December through March, it rains a little more often. From March–April to September–October, it’s dry and warm; this is the best time to go to the Seychelles on your honeymoon. If you want to dive and snorkel, the water is especially clear in March, April, and May. The time difference is +2 hours in summer and +3 hours in winter.

Check the costs of internet and phone usage, especially when you leave the hotel areas.
As anywhere in the tropics, it’s best to run the hot water tap with hot water first when entering a new room, as well as your shower and bath—to help prevent Legionella bacteria.
