Looking for the perfect wedding venue? Albert is a hidden gem in the heart of Brussels, on the roof of the KBR, the national science library. A unique, historic venue for gourmet evenings and events led by slow-food chef and culinary jack-of-all-trades Filip Fransen.
Albert's interior is warm and richly decorated in the original 1960s style with travertine-clad columns, teak panelling, a black mosaic floor, marble dining tables on a wooden frame and orange faux leather upholstery by De Coene and the Don Albinson chair by Knoll.
The views over the city are magical and the rooftop terrace is the ideal location to host an outdoor event in the city centre.

Albert is owned by witlof.brussels, an established Brussels-based caterer, various catering options are available.
Driven by sustainability: in his kitchen, Filip Fransen and his team prepare everything fresh and with respect for the planet.
Witlof therefore puts "food sourcing" at the heart of his business. "My team and I visit suppliers locally so we can experience their story and vision first-hand. They are all people who are passionate about their artisanal preparations and pure products. If you choose top products then you don't need frills."
Filip Fransen's team is more than the people working in the business. Filip also counts his regular suppliers among them. For example, his vegetable growers drop by weekly to let him know which vegetables are at their best at that moment. Based on what these local suppliers bring, the team at 'Albert' restaurant goes to work creatively. That creativity is 100% based on sustainability. "Nature gives us everything we need to be creative."
