august - a former Augustinian monastery that was transformed into a designer boutique hotel under the direction of renowned Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen.

Today, august Antwerp is a unique place where hotel, restaurant, bar, spa and shop come together, located in the Groen Kwartier and surrounded by two lush gardens. The perfect setting for couples who dream of a stylish and timeless wedding day. This special location combines historic charm with contemporary comfort and offers an oasis of tranquillity in the middle of the city – ideal for an intimate ceremony, a refined dinner or a festive wedding weekend.

Banquet rooms

With several elegant indoor spaces, an atmospheric bar and restaurant, two beautiful gardens - one of which features a pavilion and heated terrace - august offers countless possibilities for both small and larger wedding parties. From the ceremony to the reception, brunch, lunch or dinner and dance party (possible with full buy-out): every moment is tailored to your wishes.

In their bar (the former chapel of the former monastery in which the hotel is located), they are happy to welcome your guests for a reception or walking dinner. Next to the bar is the restaurant area, where they can accommodate up to 70 people for a seated 3, 4 or 5-course dinner/lunch. When the weather is nice, there is the beautiful garden where all this can take place outside. For smaller groups, the team can also host private dinners in the Library or Elisabeth room for up to 20 people.

A dance party until the early hours is only possible with a complete private hire of the hotel.

Catering

The in-house catering is provided by chef Gerd Govaerts and his team, who always work with seasonal and local ingredients.

Overnight stays

The hotel has 44 guest rooms. These rooms can be used by guests of the party, which makes for a very unique experience. The next day, everyone can have breakfast together to round off the weekend.

Parking

August has limited private parking. A Q-Park is a 10-minute walk away, and it is also possible to park in the surrounding streets.
