Celine Roelens
Celine Roelens brings colour to the Belgian jewellery scene. Fine, delicate jewellery with a distinctly modern look characterises her designs.
Celine Roelens is a graduate goldsmith, jewellery designer and certified gemologist at HRD Antwerp. Colour - from deep pink, to cool blue, to brilliant green - is incorporated into her designs. Drawing inspiration from her family's heritage, she is following in her parents' footsteps as a jeweller.
In 2020, she opened her brand new jewellery design studio in Ghent, where you can make an appointment to have a custom-made piece of jewellery created for you or a loved one.
At Celine Roelens you will find engagement rings and wedding rings, but also earrings, bracelets, necklaces, birth jewellery, mourning jewellery, a talisman and so much more.
Celine enthusiastically explains, "I love sourcing and selecting gemstones. In doing so, I take a super meticulous approach and raise the bar time and again. I strive to create irresistible and unique masterpieces for my customers. Jewellery that combines the best stones with pure craftsmanship ánd attractive design."
When designing her creations, Celine Roelens resolutely chooses colour. In this process, top-quality colour stones and durability are top of the list, it is a quest that takes her to the farthest corners of the world. Her finest tourmalines come from Mozambique, her rarest sapphires from Sri Lanka.
Celine Roelens specialises in extremely rare and intense fiery colour stones, think Padparacha sapphire, mandarin garnet, indigolite, Paraiba tourmaline, rubelite or Santa Maria aquamarine.
Besides all the customisation, Celine also proudly presents her permanent collection full of pearls (read: gemstones): The Goldbeetle (of which she is creator and founder), Bigli and Dada Arrigoni.
Celine Roelens creates tailor-made jewellery. Personal contact with her customers is the drive. She meets her customers around the table and listens to their wishes. She immediately sketches an initial design by hand and discusses the budget in order to arrive at the perfect design. An engraving is always possible.
Celine Roelens takes inspiration for her designs from the image of the strong woman. With her jewellery, she wants to give women that extra touch and strength in their busy, challenging and exciting lives. "It is very nice when a customer can find just that one colour that emphasises her personality even more," comments Celine.

Celine Roelens is a creative jack-of-all-trades. After a first year of Graphic Design at St-Lucas, the passion for making jewellery took over. Determined to learn a real trade, Celine switched to goldsmith/jewellery design studies in Antwerp.
After her training, she completed internships at several foreign ateliers, including Roberta Porrati (Italy), got a job at the Diamond Club and obtained the diplomas "Certified Diamond Grader & Certified Gemologist" at the Diamond High Council in Antwerp. Soon, Celine takes her first steps in the family business of her parents, who have been crafting jewellery with their own master stamp for years.
In the 'A la Carte' theme, Celine Roelens created her "Asparagulicious" - jewellery hat. A 'masterpiece' that earned her a well-deserved final place in the HRD Awards (international jewellery competition organised by the Diamond High Council). Her 'asparagus hat' travelled around the world for 2 years. The creation consists of no less than half a kilo of 18Kt gold and is set with more than 1,200 diamonds.
In 2020, Celine Roelens opened her own jewellery design studio in the heart of Ghent.
Celine's jewellery became a concept in Oudenaarde and far beyond. Nevertheless, she wanted to set up her own design studio. After a (long) search for the perfect premises, on 25 May 2020 Celine opens her own design pearl in the Lange Kruisstraat 14, in the centre of Ghent.
The brand new design studio in Ghent has been turned by Celine into a cosy meeting place where you will be inspired by the many jewels, enchanting colour stones, luxury jewellery books, original interior objects, minerals and fossils.
