About Christel Maatwerk

With great gratitude and pride, Christel shares that her work is officially recognized as craftsmanship by the FPS Economy and has been awarded the HIB label (Handmade in Belgium) by UNIZO.

As a patternmaker and designer specializing in custom bridal and formal wear, she works every day with her hands and her heart. Since 2011, she has stood for pure craftsmanship, quality, and authenticity. Each design is entirely handmade in her own studio: no mass production, but unique creations crafted with care, precision, and an eye for detail for a special moment in someone’s life.

These accolades underscore what her work stands for: true Belgian craftsmanship, underpinned by years of experience, dedication, and a deep love for the craft. She consciously takes the time to finish each piece with care, respecting both the craft and the people who wear her creations.
