The authentic characteristics of this polyvalent hall ensure lots of possibilities. De Commanderie has a capacity of up to 300 people for dinner at the table. For walking dinners or receptions there is a capacity of up to 500 persons.
Built during WWII in 1940-41 by order of the Luftwaffe Belgium, the Commanderie was used at the time as a kitchen for the officers of the German and Italian air forces. It belonged to the Military Flight Square, where the Maldegem Industrial Park is now located. The building has been completely renovated, taking into account its historical character and with a slightly contemporary touch.
