Your project coordinator oversees the entire process: from the initial discussions to the execution on the day itself. All agreements, wishes and practical details are incorporated into a comprehensive script. This ensures that no information is lost. The briefing of the maître d’, chef and front-of-house staff is centralised and structured, so that everyone knows exactly what is expected.
Their maître d’ is not only present during the event itself, but is also responsible for the entire set-up and on-site coordination. This ensures peace of mind, a clear overview and a smooth execution from start to finish.
A kitchen with a focus on flavour and quality
In the kitchen, they work with permanent, qualified chefs and we consciously choose high-quality products and a traditional approach. Sauces and stocks, for example, are prepared entirely in-house, because it is precisely this foundation that makes the difference in flavour and finesse.
Their chef, Tom Van der Eecken, leads the kitchen with experience, calm and precision. As an ambassador for North Sea Chefs and with over twenty years’ experience, he champions a cuisine that is refined without excess. No show for the sake of it, but dishes that are technically sound, tastefully composed and tailored to the story of your celebration.

About De Feestarchitect
For 30 years, De Feestarchitect has stood for creative, bespoke concept catering. The family business was founded in 1996 by Christ Schepens and has grown from hosting receptions, BBQs and feasts to becoming an established name in the catering and events sector.
In 2011, Christ introduced the term concept catering, placing customisation, creativity and quality at the heart of the business. The company’s vision remains the same today: not to be the biggest, but to be one of the best.
Since 2023, Mathias Lataer, Christ’s son-in-law and a member of De Feestarchitect since 2010, has taken over the day-to-day management. Christ continues to focus on developing innovative and creative catering concepts.
