Kasteel van Kapellen, one of the larger castles around Antwerp, opened in 2024 after years of renovation and restoration. During the restoration, preserving authenticity was key. Entering the domain through the imposing castle gate, you drive past centuries-old trees. The long driveway reveals the beauty of the 19th-century impressive Kasteel van Kapellen with its charming castle towers. The romantic setting both outside and inside, contains all the ingredients for a fairytale wedding. The castle, formerly a private domain, has only recently been transformed into a wedding location, making it the hidden gem among wedding venues in Belgium.

The ideal capacity for your wedding party

Situated in a 4-hectare park with age-old trees, Kasteel van Kapellen can accommodate a reception for up to 275 people, and a seated dinner for 75-150 people. It features attractive indoor and outdoor spaces, a large terrace at the front and a smaller romantic terrace at the back. A small chapel for 20 people and a large chapel for ceremonies of up to 200 people. No compulsory end time for the dance party​​​​​​​

Choose your preferred culinary partner

During a guided tour of the Kasteel van Kapellen, you will discuss the possible scenarios for your wedding day and you can take an option on your favourite wedding date. When hiring the venue, you can use their available infrastructure, such as high bar tables, tables and chairs, free of charge. Afterwards, they will introduce you to a selection of experienced caterers who will guide you in your culinary choices. In addition, you will receive a list of local suppliers such as DJs, wedding planners, florists and decorators who can complete your special day.

Parking

There is ample parking on the premises and within walking distance. The castle parking lot has space for 90 cars, and there is a parking lot for 77 cars located 150 meters away.
