Approach

Before the wedding: thorough preparation

Stunning wedding photos start with careful preparation. That’s why Karim makes sure he’s fully up to speed with your schedule for the day. This way, he knows exactly when and where the key moments will take place, and can capture every precious detail and spontaneous moment perfectly.

Introductory meeting

Karim starts with a personal consultation, either via a video call or in the studio. During this, he listens to your wishes, discusses your style preferences and goes through the day’s schedule with you.

Personal contact

During the preparations, you’ll stay in close contact via WhatsApp or email. This ensures everything remains clear, well-coordinated and always up to date.

Coordination with the master of ceremonies

Karim will also go through the schedule with your master of ceremonies. Any surprises will be discussed at this stage, so that he knows exactly when to be extra alert to capture these special moments perfectly.

On the wedding day: discreet and professional

On your wedding day, PIXEL Creative Studio uses high-quality cameras, professional lenses and carefully planned lighting. Karim’s approach is unobtrusive and relaxed, so you can enjoy yourselves to the full whilst he captures all the important moments. Where necessary, he uses subtle flashes to perfectly illuminate every situation – from bright daylight to dimly lit reception venues – without disrupting the atmosphere.

Morning & Preparations

Karim begins by capturing the details: the dress, the suit, the rings, flowers and invitations. Whilst you’re getting dressed, he focuses on the emotions and small, meaningful moments. In low light, he uses soft, indirect flash to maintain a natural and warm look.

First Look

Karim discusses with you in advance how you envisage your first look. Together, you decide on the location, the timing and the atmosphere. He actively contributes ideas to make that moment as personal and special as possible.

Whether that moment is intimate or shared with family, he captures it as it happens spontaneously. This creates a genuine and emotional memory without the moment feeling staged.

Love Shoot

During the shoot, Karim guides you in a relaxed manner. No stiff poses, just genuine moments full of movement and interaction. He uses natural light and, where necessary, creative flash set-ups to add depth and a unique character to the images, from soft backlighting to more powerful flash for a more editorial look.

The Ceremony

During the ceremony, Karim works as unobtrusively as possible, capturing all the key moments: the entrance, the vows, saying ‘I do’ and the kiss. In challenging lighting conditions, he uses discreet flash to ensure every image remains clear and sharp, without detracting from the atmosphere.

Reception

Using fast lenses and a zoom lens, PIXEL Creative Studio captures spontaneous and genuine moments, often from a distance. This allows guests to remain completely themselves, whilst the photographer’s presence is barely noticeable. Many people change their facial expressions as soon as they spot a camera, which is precisely why Karim works as unobtrusively as possible to capture genuine emotions.

Dinner

Karim captures the atmosphere, details and interactions at the table. In candlelit or dimly lit settings, he uses soft bounce flash to preserve the warm ambience, whilst ensuring everything is captured clearly and professionally.

Reception & First Dance

During the reception, Karim’s expertise with flash really comes into its own. He combines movement with creative flash techniques such as rear curtain sync and off-camera flash to create dynamic and vibrant images. He captures the first dance in its entirety, followed by energetic and atmospheric photos that reflect the true spirit of the celebration.
