Welcome to Ruilok

Ruilok is an intimate and charming wedding venue in Zeveneken, between Ghent and Lokeren. Surrounded by greenery, it offers a peaceful setting for couples who want to celebrate their wedding in a personal and relaxed atmosphere.

The cosy event space, garden and terrace provide the setting for weddings of up to 60 guests. What’s more, Ruilok hosts only one celebration at a time, giving the couple and their guests exclusive use of the entire venue.

Event Spaces

Ruilok welcomes wedding celebrations of up to 60 guests. The venue features a cosy event space with a bar, a fully equipped kitchen, a garden and a terrace.

The combination of indoor and outdoor spaces allows couples to organise their celebration in different ways. Its intimate size makes Ruilok particularly suited to couples who deliberately choose a smaller wedding where all their guests can celebrate together.

Catering

Ruilok offers plenty of flexibility when it comes to catering. Couples can choose Ruilok’s artisanal, homemade catering, work with one of their trusted catering partners or bring in a caterer of their own.

This allows them to tailor the food to their own tastes, wishes and plans for the celebration.

About Ruilok

Ruilok is run by host Sylvie Vanderhaeghen and grew from her love of cooking, welcoming people and enjoying good times together.

What started with the renovation of a kitchen in an old barn gradually developed into the event venue Ruilok is today. That personal origin can still be felt throughout the venue. Rather than hosting several celebrations at once, Ruilok welcomes one group at a time and gives them the space to enjoy the day together.

Sylvie welcomes couples and their guests into a relaxed setting where good food, togetherness and a warm atmosphere take centre stage.

Location

Ruilok is located in Zeveneken (Lochristi), East Flanders, centrally situated between Ghent and Lokeren and easily accessible via the E17 motorway.

Parking

Free parking is available at Ruilok for the couple and their guests.
