Party rooms

SCALA event center has no fewer than 7 flexible rooms, which can be perfectly adapted to your party thanks to movable walls. Whether you opt for an intimate celebration with 5 people or a grand wedding party for up to 350 guests, everything is customized.

The possibilities are also endless in terms of layout: a romantic ceremony in theater style, an atmospheric dinner at beautifully set tables, and a lively reception or party with bar tables and a dance floor. The beating heart of the location is the Schelde Lounge: a spacious, centrally located room with a dance floor and an impressive LED wall for personal photos, texts, and moving images.

Thanks to the large windows and architectural ceiling, the rooms are bathed in natural daylight. This creates an open, light, and pleasant atmosphere throughout the day. And the best part? You can have your entire wedding day, including overnight accommodation, take place in one location, without any travel or logistical concerns.

SCALA's look is modern, clean, and stylish, a true blank canvas. Whether you dream of a Mediterranean wedding à la Ibiza or Italy, or a warm winter wedding with lots of atmosphere and candlelight, SCALA effortlessly adapts to your style.

Catering

A wedding party only becomes truly unforgettable when the culinary experience is just right. SCALA's in-house catering team will work with you to develop a catering concept that perfectly matches your wishes and the atmosphere of your day.

For small-scale wedding parties, there is also a special extra asset: right next to SCALA is ARNO ristorante, a fine dining restaurant run by chef Louis Verstrepen, known for the Michelin-starred Da Mimmo in Brussels. ARNO brings Tuscan cuisine to life with pure flavors, seasonal products, and warm, authentic hospitality. The restaurant can be hired exclusively for private events for up to 35 people. In spring and summer, the cozy outdoor terrace is also an absolute bonus.

Overnight stay

Above SCALA is the Courtyard by Marriott Ghent hotel. From the banquet hall, you can easily take the elevator or stairs upstairs, straight to your comfortable and stylish hotel room. Ideal for you as a couple to end the day in a relaxed manner, and a huge asset for guests who would like to stay overnight.

During the wedding day, you will also have your own room to retreat to, freshen up, or change in peace and privacy.

In addition, SCALA is surrounded by Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ghent and Residence Inn by Marriott Ghent. Together, these hotels offer more than 400 comfortable rooms, all within walking distance. This means that there is a suitable accommodation option for every guest.

Parking

SCALA is located just outside the busy center of Ghent, in the Akkerhage district, making it easily accessible by both car and public transport. The location is outside the low-emission zone.

There is ample parking space with 200 parking spaces, both above and below ground, including bus parking and no fewer than 40 charging stations for electric vehicles.
