Located in the rural green village of Beke (part of Lievegem, near Ghent), near walking and cycling routes along De Lieve, the centuries-old ‘Maurushoeve’ is surrounded by fields.  Over the years, the farmstead has been transformed into a beautiful party location with a soul, something you immediately feel the first time you enter.   

The barn with oak trusses, church floors, old recovery stones, oak gate and large pillars at the driveway reminds everyone who enters of the history of times gone by. 

The Sint-Maurus-Hoeve is more than an ordinary event location, but a place where you can enjoy an idyllic setting for any celebration in a unique and above all authentic setting.  

Party rooms  

The three halls of Maurushoeve each have a different character and size. 

The ‘Hoeve’ is the oldest part of Maurushoeve with authentic wooden beams. It is located at the front garden along De Lieve and is often used for receiving guests, a space for booths or the dessert buffet. It also features a cosy lounge area with a coffee corner and chesterfield seats...

The room at the back garden, the ‘’Schuur‘’, is the showpiece of Maurushoeve with a high wooden ceiling and impressive old beams, perfect for a seated dinner for up to 146 people or a walking dinner for 180 people. There is even a small mezzanine that can serve for extra guests, lounge area, space for the photobooth, ... So you can have 30 extra guests seated during a seated dinner or 50 extra guests for a walking dinner or reception. 

The ‘crypte’, located under the ‘’Schuur‘’ of Maurushoeve, with authentic rustic church stones and arched vault. There is a separate bar and therefore the ideal space for a dance party or reception (up to 150 people) if the weather is bad.  A dance party is even possible there for up to 175 people. 

Both the front and back gardens of Maurushoeve lend themselves perfectly to an intimate ceremony, an outdoor reception, a show-cooking barbecue or trendy food trucks.

To guarantee high quality and service on all facets of your wedding, the team of Maurushoeve offers an extra service led by some renowned wedding planners. They will personally assist you from day one in planning the perfect menu, drinks, etc. for your party and ensure that everything runs smoothly on the day itself.  

During the day of your wedding, this wedding planner at Maurushoeve will coordinate the reception and orientation of all suppliers, lead the team for the construction of your party, take over and put away the gifts, seat the guests at the table - in short: your first point of contact. 

Enjoying an idyllic ceremony or garden party is also possible in the afternoon and evening sun, in the backyard or a meadow of Maurushoeve.  

With its beautiful gardens, unique rooms, rural location and large private car park for more than 75 cars, Maurushoeve offers an appropriate setting for your wedding party.

Catering 

At Maurushoeve, a successful party experience is inextricably linked to their catering. Maurushoeve brings people together and creates unique moments. They share their passion for artisanal dishes, their collaboration with local suppliers and all this from a personal and family setting.
