Located on the village square next to the church of Kachtem, the Hoornaert family has been welcoming you for over 125 years with a unique culinary experience in an intimate, contemporary setting. Party rooms

Stijn, Mattias and their team organise every party completely tailor-made. In the run-up to your party, everything is discussed in detail and you can count on a smooth follow-up of the organisation. This leaves you with nothing but carefree enjoyment. Your party is your moment de gloire. They turn it into an unforgettable moment thanks to their personal approach. t' Hoornaerts can accommodate 150 people at table or 250 for a walking dinner. Moreover, the room can easily be divided to perfectly fit your unique party.

Are you planning an intimate party? Then they will keep the room on the first floor free for you. With fireplace, bar and your favourite music you will create a cosy party and petite compagnie.

Besides the beautiful indoor spaces, t' Hoornaerts also has an attractive terrace garden with outdoor bar. This ideal location lends itself perfectly to an aperitif in the fresh air or a ceremony. Moreover, the venue is accessible for the disabled and has various multimedia facilities such as sound, projection facilities and wifi.

At t’ Hoornaerts, they have a restaurant-level kitchen, run by an experienced and passionate team led by chef Bart Hoornaert. After training and gaining experience in a two-star restaurant, he now runs his own kitchen, where he blends global influences into refined Flemish dishes that remain accessible yet always manage to surprise.

Their kitchen team can handle all culinary needs entirely in-house and guarantees consistent quality from start to finish. A deliberate choice for seasonal top-quality ingredients, a well-thought-out wine selection, and the chef’s unique personal touch make every menu stand out.

The name ‘t’ Hoornaerts' is derived from “toe Hoornaerts”, as the Kachtemnaars say when they are “at the Hoornaerts”. A name that in five generations has become the epitome of hospitality.
