In 2023, the B&B won the prestigious 'Met Vier in Bed' award and the castle served as the wedding venue for the four big weddings of the popular television programme 'Blind Getrouwd'. About Kasteel T’Rest

Behind T’Rest is Kenny Pappaert, a driven entrepreneur with a passion for refined flavours and uncompromising quality. His love for the profession began at a young age and grew into an impressive career in the hospitality and catering industry.

What once started as a home catering service under the name Orecah, resulted in the creation of a unique gastronomic experience in the renovated Kasteel Ter Rijst.

In 2019, T'Rest opened its doors as a bistro. Since then, Kenny and his team have set a course towards refinement and gastronomy. Today, T'Rest has grown into a classy establishment in the Pajottenland region, where every guest is welcomed in an atmosphere of stylish tranquillity and sincere hospitality.

T'Rest's values are clear: exclusive but accessible, stylish but not aloof, and always with respect for the soul of the castle. The kitchen works with fresh, seasonal products and refined finishing touches, supported by a team that exudes hospitality.
