The Almost Swinging Jazz Band is a lively and charming swing ensemble that brings the typical 'Dixieland style' from the 1920s-30s to life. Think of light, feel-good jazz in the spirit of icons like Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Prima, and Frank Sinatra. What makes them truly unique? Every song is performed in rich four-part harmony – a self-accompanying ‘barbershop quartet’ is a rarity in Belgium!
Service
The performance can take place both indoors and outdoors, and the team provides all the necessary equipment, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. Thanks to their acoustic setup, the band is highly mobile and can easily move between different locations and settings.
The act is especially well-suited as atmospheric background music during receptions, but they are also often asked to provide live music for wedding ceremonies (e.g. the entrance, musical interludes, etc.).
The team performs in their standard attire: black suit pants and shoes, white shirt with a black tie, a red vest, and of course, the signature dixie hat. If desired, they are happy to adjust their attire to match the theme or style of the event.
