Yentl performs your hand-picked songs in an intimate arrangement for piano and vocals. From pop and classical to schlager or metal: she transforms your favourite music into a warm, personal live experience that perfectly complements your wedding day.

With her warm voice, subtle piano playing and strong musical background, Yentl knows better than anyone how to touch a wide audience. This means that the music during your ceremony, reception or opening dance isn’t just a nice extra, but a lasting memory of a special moment.

Services

Choosing Yentl means choosing quality without any financial surprises. For an all-inclusive price, you receive:

• live music fully* tailored to your needs
• a sound system with the option to borrow 2 microphones for the speakers
• high-quality live recordings of your chosen music.

*Live music during the ceremony is fully bespoke, as is the opening dance. Music during the reception or meal is partly bespoke.

Following a no-obligation introductory meeting, you’ll have plenty of time to choose the music. You can let your ideas run free or make use of the inspiration list on her website. Are there certain songs that have a special meaning for you, or that you both really love? The genre doesn’t matter. Yentl will be happy to create a special, intimate version with piano and vocals just for you.

She would like to receive your selection list no later than one month before your wedding day, at which point she will begin rehearsing. To give you an idea of what to expect on your big day, she will provide short recordings of the rehearsals no later than 10 days in advance. This allows for any adjustments to be made if you wish, ensuring you feel completely at ease with the music.

During a wedding ceremony in church, music often features during specific parts of the service, such as at the entrance, after the first reading, whilst signing the marriage register, during the offertory, during communion and after the dismissal and blessing. This is a suggestion. Of course, this can be adapted if desired. If your ceremony is not taking place in a church, the music will be played at the times you choose.

On your wedding day, you will enjoy tailor-made music recorded live in high quality. You will receive the professional recordings of the music in your inbox within a month of your wedding day. This way, you will have a lasting audio memento of this wonderful moment for years to come.

About Yentl

Yentl has spent her days singing since she was a child. When she wrote her first song at the age of ten, she was immediately hooked on songwriting. She accompanies herself on the piano and also plays the saxophone and flugelhorn.

From 2013 to 2019, Yentl sang with the well-known choir Scala & Kolacny Brothers. After completing her music education degree at LUCA School of Arts, she also finished a short music production course with distinction. In 2020, she began working as a freelance musician. In 2022, she reached the final of the Nekka competition with her own project and, at the invitation of Herman van Veen, performed one of her own songs during his concert at the Concertgebouw in Bruges.

In addition to her work as a musician, Yentl is also active as a music teacher. She is a lecturer in the early years and secondary education programmes at VIVES University College. She also gives private lessons in singing and piano and works freelance as a singing teacher, including at the Concertgebouw Brugge.

Yentl also has experience as a conductor. From 2014 to 2019, she was the conductor of Amigrande, a mixed choir from Roeselare. Since 2020, she has been the conductor of the Bruges choir The Bare Necessities.

Active in

Yentl provides live music for weddings in Flanders, with a strong focus on ceremonies, receptions, meals and opening dances.
