A beautiful makeup look starts with perfectly cared-for skin! Cleanse your skin thoroughly and apply the necessary skincare: an eye cream and a day cream are essential.
Use a primer before starting your bridal look to ensure your makeup lasts. There are also special anti-shine primers on the market in case you struggle with oily, shiny skin.
When you’re doing your makeup for a special day, start with your eyes. That way, you can remove any fallout (eyeshadow that has fallen under the eyes) afterward, and your skin will stay looking flawless.
Define your eyebrows. Nicely shaped brows complete your look and add expression to your face. To do this, use a wax pencil in a shade that matches your hair color. This will give you the most natural result.
Test your lipstick in advance. Try different colors and finishes. Going for matte? Then make sure your lips are in perfect condition. A lip scrub is recommended if you have dry lips and dry skin. Don’t forget to moisturize your lips!
If you choose false lashes, go for lash clusters. They can easily be placed in between your natural lashes, and the result is less noticeable than strip lashes.
Don’t forget your blush! On your wedding day, there will be lots of kisses and your blush will fade faster. Combine a cream blush with a powder blush for long-lasting results.
