1. Make a list of supplies
Before you start packing, it's a good idea to make a list of everything you'll need on your honeymoon. Don't just think about clothes, but also... :
toiletries
any medication
travel documents
electronic devices such as chargers and an external battery
local money

2. Think about the weather and activities
It's always important to consider the weather and your travel activities when packing, and the same goes for your honeymoon. If you're going to a hot, sunny country, light clothing and sun cream are essential. If you're going skiing, you'll of course need warm clothes and a good ski suit. Keep this in mind when you pack your bags, and always bring something extra in case nature decides otherwise!
3. Choose the right suitcase
Choose the right luggage for your honeymoon. If you're travelling by plane, take into account the baggage limits imposed by the airline. Choose a suitcase that's big enough for all your belongings, but check in advance whether it's included in the airline's package. Tip: always provide a padlock and a badge for each suitcase. That way, you'll be even safer!
4. Divide your belongings between several suitcases
It's a good idea to divide your belongings between several suitcases. That way, if you have a problem with one of your suitcases, you won't lose everything (temporarily). Spread your belongings over several suitcases and make sure that your most important items are always in your hand luggage.
5. Bring the right electronics
These days, electronics are an important part of holidays. That's why you need to pack the right gadgets for your honeymoon. Think of a camera to take great photos, a reading book to relax with, your smartphone and powerbank to keep in touch with your family. And don't forget your (international) chargers!
6. Pack a small bag for outings
Take a small rucksack or totebag with you on your honeymoon. This will make it easy to carry your essentials , such as swimming gear, sun cream, camera and possibly an evening jumper.
7. Think of romantic extras
A honeymoon is obviously a romantic holiday. So think of some romantic extras. For example, hide a sweet note in your partner's luggage or take some candles with you. Tip: many hotels offer honeymoon packages. Prefer not to bother with a bottle of champagne? Have them ready for your arrival.
Another important tip: leave room in your luggage for souvenirs!
