1. A Reflection of Your Identity
The common thread in the floral trends of 2026 is personalization and identity. Your style, roots, and personal story will take center stage in the decor, according to Céline from Fleur de Coeur. She explains: “More than ever, flowers reflect the personality and identity of the couple. For example, we recently organized a wedding reception for a bride with Vietnamese roots. She wanted as many elements of her culture as possible to shine through in the flowers. For the color palette, we chose a beautiful red with exotic green.”

2. The Big Picture
By 2026, flowers will no longer be mere accessories or table decorations; they will truly be part of the big picture. Nele Ost of Daniel Ost | House of Floral Artistry sees a clear evolution: “We’re noticing a shift away from decorative excess and toward floral ‘scenography’. Flowers are becoming less of an accessory and more of an integral part of the wedding’s architecture. Think natural color palettes, seasonal flowers with character, and arrangements that respect space, light, and materials.”

3. Soft & Monochrome
Flowers with soft, natural color harmonies will set the tone in 2026, says Nele Ost of Daniel Ost | House of Floral Artistry: “Colors like cream white, sand, blush, apricot tones, and soft green bring calm and sophistication to any wedding setting.”
At Art of Flower, they also note that the monochrome or solid color palette remains very much in vogue. Stefanie shares: “We will see even more monochrome colors. Red, burgundy, and yellow have already made an appearance. Now, many shades of lavender and purple are also emerging.” By working within a single color family, you create a harmonious, timeless whole that still feels personal.
Eva from Floreer also confirms this trend: “For the coming season, couples are often choosing a monochromatic or flowing color palette, preferably as natural as possible. Think, for example, of combinations of just shades of pink or combinations of green grasses, white, and butter yellow.”

4. Minimalist
Simplicity is key, according to LOTS Flower Art as well. Lieselot explains: “Minimalism remains a clear theme in the floral trends of 2026.” Many couples are consciously choosing a limited number of flower varieties to create a sleek and pure look. Think, for example, of a decoration made entirely of roses, or exclusively of daisies. This repetition creates a sense of calm, strength, and refinement.”

5. Playful shapes, textures, and movement
One of the most striking floral trends of 2026 is that compact, classic bouquets are giving way to floral arrangements with texture and movement. Nele Ost of Daniel Ost | House of Floral Artistry explains: “We’re seeing a beautiful blend of sophistication and spontaneity, featuring flowers like ranunculus, garden roses, dahlias, cosmos, and flowering branches.”
Coco Bloom Concept has noticed the same shift. Sarah shares: “I’m seeing a lot of playful and organic shapes right now, which I call the ‘boho vibes’. Don’t expect sleek perfection here, but rather natural arrangements, contrast, and asymmetry, with which couples sometimes also dare to stand out. The trendy amaranth with its trailing greenery is a great example of this, as are black accents—bold and unique when paired with other soft hues. A bridal bouquet with dried flowers can certainly be very colorful too!”

At LOTS Flower Art, a noticeable change has emerged in the way flowers are arranged. “Instead of mixing different flowers evenly, we often group the same varieties together. This creates a playful effect that is both structured and contemporary. In addition, couples no longer opt for a single type of table decoration. We’re seeing much more variety here: think of a combination of small vases, floral arrangements, different types of candles per table, and so on,” says Lieselot. This creates a livelier and less predictable overall look.

6. Flower-heavy
At Floreer as well, Eva notices a preference for organic shapes and texture, with the whole flower taking center stage. “Couples today appreciate it when the natural shape of both the flower and the stem is emphasized and adds texture to the floral arrangement. In the past, however, the flower was often used solely for its ‘head’ in ‘round’ floral arrangements such as a Biedermeier bouquet. Additionally, couples now want their floral arrangements to be truly ‘flower-heavy’, with fewer additions of typical foliage such as eucalyptus,” she explains.

7. Retro is back!
It’s no secret that fashion trends regularly make a comeback—and the same goes for the floral trends of 2026. Lieselot from LOTS Flower Art is already excited about this year’s retro influence. “Classic flowers are making a comeback: phalaenopsis orchids, anthuriums, amaranth, and calla lilies are back in full force! These are bold choices that make a strong statement—you’re either all in, or not at all,” she says with a wink.

8. Sustainable Flowers
Sustainable choices continue to gain popularity in 2026, partly thanks to seasonal flowers and natural hues. Eva from Floreer explains: “By choosing flowers in their natural hues, couples avoid artificially colored flowers, such as dyed gypsophila or spray-painted tulips or roses. Hooray for eco! I also sometimes get a unique request: couples who split their wedding into different parts often want a version of their bridal bouquet made with silk flowers. For example, when they’re celebrating part of their wedding abroad or holding their reception six months later.”
For Coco Bloom Concept, sustainability is more than just a trend. Sarah: “With my dried flowers, I naturally focus primarily on sustainability. Thanks to flowers that truly suit the couple—and ideally their interior as well—they can enjoy them for a very long time.”

9. Trust in the Expert
By 2026, couples will have greater confidence in the florist’s expertise. Eva from Floreer shares: “I’ve noticed that couples are more willing to leave the design work to us based on their mood board. Thanks to the inspirational images they share online, we can quickly get a sense of their style.”

Which wedding flowers suit you best?
The floral trends of 2026 point in one clear direction: your flowers should reflect who you are and complement the overall theme of your wedding celebration.
