1. See-through effect
Transparency is a subtle seducer in the 2020 collections of several bridal fashion houses. Tops with a completely transparent back reign supreme on the catwalks, creating a wonderfully intimate and feminine effect. In some collections, the see-through effect is even extended to the hips and bust of the dress... For the daring!

2. Waist in the spotlight
Belts in silver, gold, and light colors often accentuate the waists of dream dresses. We have seen a combination of crop tops and skirts more often in recent years, but new—and stunningly beautiful!—are the see-through waists in lace and light voile that connect the top and skirt in a dress.

3. Deep plunge and slit
As in previous years, a deep neckline emphasizes femininity in its most beautiful forms. High slits in the skirt of the dress often allow the bride's legs to shine.

4. Crochet lace
Both in boho collections and more traditional bridal fashion brands, we see wedding dresses in crochet lace on the catwalk. From head to toe or subtly incorporated into certain parts of the dress such as the top, neckline, and sleeves, lace is very present in 2020 wedding dresses.

5. Bridal shorts and mini dresses
After the wedding blazers and jumpsuits of the last few seasons, it was clear that it was only a matter of time before designers would make the leap to short bridal shorts and rompers. Sometimes the bridal shorts peek out subtly from under a veil or long skirt with a slit, which is elegantly draped over the shorts. Also great as an outfit for your dance party – what an ideal outfit to shake the night away!

6. Veil from the back
Whereas traditionally the veil is incorporated into the bridal hairstyle, in 2020 we are seeing many headbands from which the veil flows at the bottom. The veil also often starts at the back of the dress, so that the bridal hairstyle can remain untouched and continue to shine.

7. Glamorous glitter
Time to shine! A little (or even a lot!) of bling is definitely allowed in your 2020 wedding dress. Gold and/or silver, pearls, studs, and crystal embroidery add an extra touch of glamour to your wedding day!

8. Accessory alert!
Diamond headbands, hats, large pearl earrings, belts... Your accessories will complete your bridal look in 2020!

These dresses will arrive in your favorite bridal fashion stores from September 2019 to early 2020. Are you newly engaged—or secretly expecting a ring soon? Then you already know what to look forward to!
