The perfect fit for you and your guests
Liesbeth Van Agtmael, collection manager at CKS, explains exactly what the limited bridal collection entails: “The collection consists of four bridal looks and four guest looks. Among other things, you’ll find a bridal jumpsuit with a deep back neckline, an hourglass-style blazer that beautifully accentuates the waist, elegant feather-trimmed pants, and a playful blazer dress. Each piece combines femininity, strength, and freedom of movement. We also added a few surprise elements, such as a pearl top that gives your outfit just that extra touch of glamour and a veil with hand-drawn details by Irmy: a subtle ‘something blue’ touch that adds extra personality.”
CKS also included wedding guests in the collection’s design. “For the guest looks, we chose eye-catching statement pieces, such as a bright red jumpsuit and a sheer skirt paired with an oversized shirt featuring playful, twisted seams. And for a comfortable pre-wedding or day-after look, CKS offers a stylish jogger set with a hoodie, subtle cut-outs, and refined jewelry,” Liesbeth shares enthusiastically.

Bridal on demand: an outfit that truly suits you
In addition to the collection, CKS is also introducing a unique bridal on demand process. “Starting February 14, brides can book their personal fitting appointment at one of the three CKS stores in Ghent, Hasselt, or Antwerp, with slots available starting April 2. Each store carries the full size range from 34 to 44, so every bride can discover and try on her favorite bridal fit with her loved ones,” says Liesbeth.
The chosen bridal look is then ordered and produced on demand. In this way, CKS avoids overproduction and consciously focuses on a more sustainable bridal concept. After delivery, the pieces can be further adjusted if necessary. Basic alterations, such as shortening pants, are possible to ensure a perfect fit.
Colorful and playful
Throughout the new bridal collection, the signature CKS DNA remains clearly present. Liesbeth shares: “Trendy colors, playful ruffles, cut-outs, and subtle sheer details give the looks a modern, fashion-forward vibe. Elements you might recognize from previous collections take on new meaning within a wedding context.”
So it’s extra fun to add a playful touch to your civil wedding outfit with these! Or to your second outfit for the dance party, for example.

How many outfits will you choose?
More and more brides are choosing one or more outfits for their wedding celebration in addition to their wedding dress. This is often a separate outfit for the civil ceremony—for which you might want something a bit more understated or, conversely, bold. Is your civil ceremony taking place on a separate day, with a small or large group, followed by a lunch or reception? Or would you like to change your look for this official moment on your big day, to keep your wedding dress a surprise until your church or other ceremony?
People are also increasingly opting for other outfit changes throughout the wedding day. Think of a shorter dress with more freedom of movement for the dance party. Or a multi-day wedding, where multiple outfits are a must—from the reception the night before to breakfast the day after.
CKS’s bridal outfits are perfect for this: thanks to their playful and wearable elegance, they let you switch seamlessly between all the different moments and bridal looks.

Say goodbye to insecurities
For this limited bridal collection, CKS joined forces with wedding photographer Irmy Coeckelbergs, who has been in the front row at wedding celebrations for fifteen years. As a photographer, she is also a silent witness to everything that happens on a wedding day. Irmy explains: “Brides feel the pressure—not literally, but emotionally. With all those expectations surrounding you, a dress in which you feel good and free is the most beautiful gift. I witnessed brides’ little insecurities up close. A dress that shifts, a slit that feels uncomfortable when sitting, the tension the bride feels... . On the other hand, I also saw just how resilient, pure, and human those moments are. Those experiences form the basis for the bridal collection with CKS.”
For Irmy, spring is also going to be extra special: “I have my own civil wedding to look forward to in April. After a long search for the perfect bridal fit, I couldn’t find anything that was completely ‘Irmy.’ That search led me to CKS.”
