What is luxury to you?
Nadine: “Luxury is the right experience at the right moment. Feriatus ensures that the entire experience is tailored to the client's wishes. We conceive, organise, and execute wedding celebrations down to the smallest details. We ensure that every aspect, from the location and the catering to the styling of the event, perfectly matches the theme. For example, a safari-themed party might not include champagne, but rosé wine with suckling pig on the grill is an appealing idea.”

How do you make the difference?
"Through my personal approach. I always build a confidential relationship with the couples who use my services. The best proof of this is that sometimes I receive very personal questions. Recently, for example, a groom asked me if I could help think of a suitable surprise for the bride. I was happy to do so; I eventually went to pick up the surprise myself and ensured it was ready in the hotel room at the right moment. I go that extra mile in my service, seeking a solution for every question or obstacle."
How do you see your role in shaping a celebration?
"On the day of the celebration, I am the hostess who monitors everything, overseeing every aspect from the flowers to the catering. I also keep an eye on the timing. But on the day of the celebration, my job is mostly complete. The majority of my time goes into preparation. How do I approach that? I create a tailor-made concept for each client. Usually, this starts with a Pinterest board full of the client’s ideas, giving me insight into the budget. Afterwards, I create mood boards for every aspect of the celebration, from the flowers to the graphic design and styling. I check everything with the client until the result is perfect. Every aspect is bespoke, and I seek originality in every detail. Recently, for example, I used handmade birchwood candle holders for a celebration."

Destination weddings are a growing market. How do you cater to this?
“Our destination weddings are complete experiences. Typically, such a celebration lasts three days: a welcome on Friday, the wedding on Saturday, and a brunch on Sunday. Feriatus organises everything down to the finest details. I always seek out the most imaginative locations. Not a clichéd party in a sterile hotel, but a barn celebration with cheese and wine or a wedding ceremony among the vineyards. At the reception, we serve the local rosé wine, with a customised label for the bride and groom… We create unique experiences that leave an indelible memory.”

What brings you personal satisfaction?
"The responses from the clients. I receive a lot of trust. There are even clients who asked me for advice on the colour of their curtains after the wedding, because they had so much trust in my taste and style. The nicest feedback I've received? That they will miss me after the wedding. After every event, I also have to adjust a bit from the intense contact."
