An early start makes a difference

Start planning your honeymoon well in advance. We' re not talking about weeks, but - hold on - a year. The months and weeks before your wedding, you will have other things on your mind. So starting to plan a year in advance is no luxury. Moreover, the prices are more interesting if you book well in advance. And the availability of hotels will be much greater. Find out in advance where and when you have to get which vaccinations.

The four seasons

Will you be a spring or a summer bride? Be aware that it is always rainy season or winter in a certain half of the world. Be sure to adapt your destination to the climate. You don't want to spend your honeymoon indoors while a tropical storm is raging outside, do you? Be sure to ask your travel specialist for advice.

Wish list

Bali, the Maldives, Venice... Don't pin yourself down to a destination, but first decide what you want to do on your honeymoon. Do you want a nice, lazy beach holiday, to be at one with nature, to experience culture or culinary delights? Discuss your priorities with your travel specialist, who will then be able to give you a list of destinations that really suit you.

Postponing is not deferring

Don't go on your honeymoon right after your party. Allow yourself a day or two to recuperate from the most important day of your life. Your wedding and the days before can be quite stressful. Relaxing together is the basis for a relaxed honeymoon.

Relax, take it easy

Don't try to work through the entire travel guide on your honeymoon. Take time to enjoy each other's company and don't plan too much for your trip. You might still be on a party high at the beginning of your honeymoon... Enjoy your brand new spouse to the full!
