1. Beautiful flowers

Flowers are decoration item number one in the church for many weddings. A nice way to immediately give this solemn venue and your ceremony a dressed-up look is to hang small bundles of flowers on the church chairs by the aisle. You can also decorate the altar with a few flower arrangements or scatter flower petals in eye-catching places.
A very beautiful and romantic form of wedding decoration is also a flower arch. You can place it at the entrance of the church to welcome your guests. This way, you not only decorate the inside of the church, but also the outside. For this flower arch, use the same flowers as those in your bridal bouquet.

2. The warmth of candles

Using candles as decorative elements will give your church ceremony an intimate, romantic atmosphere. Pay careful attention to where you place these candles. Preferably concentrate on the altar and the space around it, for example, or provide pedestals with protective glass covers for around your candles.

3. Roll out a (red) carpet

You can make the aisle of a church your own. By providing a carpet, the decoration of your church immediately looks warmer. This runner can be red or white, of course, or can be in any number of thematic colours today. Not a literal runner, but also beautiful: a row of flowers on both sides of the aisle or petals down the aisle!

4. Greenery, trees and plants

If you want to turn your church into a green oasis, go with plants and small trees. For example, provide some nice, large plants in flower pots on and around the altar. You can also opt for plants at the entrance to welcome your guests. Place a small tree on either side of the gate and to add a bridal touch, wrap white ribbons around the trunk. Whatever you choose, our experienced florists will ensure the church will be beautifully decorated for your big day.

5. Photosfor more 'you'

Because of its grandeur, a church can often make an impersonal impression. You can easily solve this by using photos of the two of you as decoration during your wedding celebration. You project your photos on a big screen or hang them in large prints throughout the church.

6. Welcome sign at entrance

A welcome sign is a very fun and trendy form of decoration. Use a beautifully lettered welcome sign at the church entrance to welcome your guests. This will immediately set the tone of your wedding celebration. Moreover, you can also take this sign to the location where your evening party will take place. Hip and handy!

7. Balloons

Can it be a bit more playful? Then balloons are fun as decoration for your church. By using balloons, you can transform your church in no time. For example, you can fill balloons with helium so they float.

8. Wedding transport

Finally, leaving the church is just as important! Make sure your wedding transport is ready, with the necessary decorations. Think of a package with garlands, stickers and balloons or compose the decoration of the transport yourself using bows, ribbons or a 'Just Married' sticker.
