A unique atmosphere in every season
“What makes Chalet Robinson so special is its ability to evolve with the seasons,” explains Alexia Turlot. “In spring, the light is soft and everything is in bloom—very poetic. Summer feels like a holiday, with a relaxed vibe right in the heart of Brussels. Autumn is stunning too, with its warm colors and everything in shades of orange. And in winter, it has the atmosphere of a cozy mountain cabin, with all the wood, warm fires, and the surrounding nature.”
These natural changes give each wedding celebration a renewed energy, tailored to the couple’s wishes. “It’s a venue that truly lives to the rhythm of the seasons.”

A magical arrival by boat, all year round
“Arriving by boat always creates a wow effect here,” Alexia says. “Guests cross the lake in a small boat, often decorated with flowers. It really feels like a movie scene. Often, the couple arrives only afterwards, which makes the moment even more exciting. It’s very special.”
Whether it’s under the summer sun or wearing a warm winter coat, the crossing remains an unforgettable experience.

Summer garden party by the water
Alexia shares what a summer wedding at Chalet Robinson can look like: “We recently organized a wedding celebration with a ceremony by the water, followed by a barbecue with sharing dishes by KTCHN. There were delicious meat and vegetable dishes, and the atmosphere was very cozy.”
The entire venue was fully privatized for the couple. “They could enjoy every corner of the estate, from the garden to the indoor spaces. It truly felt like the island was completely theirs for the whole day. The vibe was also relaxed and romantic, with a chic garden party feel. It’s an ideal setting for a summer celebration by the water.”

Winter wedding: warmth and cocooning
In winter, Chalet Robinson becomes a true cocoon. Alexia: “Just imagine: a mulled wine bar upon arrival, cozy little bars inside, an intimate atmosphere, …”
Couples often choose a more classic service then, for example with caterer Choux de Bruxelles. “In winter, couples are often looking for a more intimate, cozy get-together. The wooden elements, the decor, the soft lighting—everything contributes to that warm mountain-cabin feel.”

Summer or winter: choose based on your personality
Which season is best? “That really depends on the couple’s personality,” says Alexia. “Those who want something very intimate and original will love the magic of a winter wedding. Others prefer the lightness and festive feeling of summer. Both options are perfectly possible here, each with their own charm.”
