1. Start with your instincts, then talk it through
According to Timo, it’s important to start with your intuition and then seek professional guidance. He advises: “At first, let your imagination run wild: look online for things you love, without holding back or setting restrictions. That’s how you discover what really appeals to you. Then take these ideas to a professional. You usually only get married once, so you’re probably not used to organising a wedding celebration. Professionals do it every day. We listen to your story and the experience you want to create. Then we find the right materials to enhance that atmosphere. If you try to do it all yourself, it can quickly become a complex maze.”
According to Timo, this guidance works best when you collaborate with other suppliers. “I’m a big advocate of working with a wedding planner or caterer. Talk things through, while staying true to your own instincts. Be honest about your budget and any limitations, too. That’s the only way we can offer focused ideas and suggest solutions you may not have considered,” he emphasises.

2. Don’t underestimate these three pitfalls...
Timo has noticed three recurring stumbling blocks. One pitfall couples often underestimate is the venue, he says: “Getting married in the middle of a field, on a beach or in the mountains is fantastic. But do give careful thought to how accessible it is. If your guests have trouble getting there, your suppliers may not be able to reach it at all. Equipment needs to be delivered without damaging the surroundings. A meadow might seem romantic until a truck gets stuck and your schedule is thrown off.”
The weather is another risk factor. “Unfortunately, the weather is unpredictable, so a backup plan is essential. Couples often take too many risks,” Timo warns.
Finally, he finds that couples often underestimate their budget. Timo explains: “Your budget needs to work for you. You don’t have to choose high-end tableware if simpler items create the same atmosphere. We look at how to bring your ideas to life within what’s possible, without exceeding your budget.”

3. Bring your vision to life in the creative studio
With so much choice and so many possibilities for wedding decor, many couples find it hard to keep track of everything. This inspired Timo to develop the creative studio at Levi Party Rental. He explains: “Sometimes it’s hard to see the wood for the trees. That’s why our project managers welcome you to the studio in a calm, comfortable setting, with a drink to enjoy. You can share what your perfect day looks like through mood boards, ideas, wishes... anything goes. From there, we make your vision tangible: for example, we bring together samples of wood, chair details, tableware, tablecloths and plants. This helps us put together a palette of colours and materials that reflects your vision. Once the overall feel is right, we turn it into specific furniture, decorations and tableware. Your story becomes tangible, and you can really start dreaming about your wedding day.”

4. Get support throughout the whole process
For Levi Party Rental , support doesn’t end once you’ve made your choices. Timo explains: “We help you finalise your selection down to the last detail, taking style, budget and guest numbers into account. We coordinate with your caterer and help keep an eye on the big picture. If the number of guests changes, we’ll look together at what that means for the tables, chairs and tableware.”
On the wedding day itself, the team also ensures timely delivery and smooth follow-up. Timo says: “We’re still available during the celebration. Our 24/7 service means we can respond quickly whenever needed. That way, you can focus on what really matters and enjoy a stress-free celebration.”

In summary: Timo’s top tips for stress-free wedding decor
Timo sums up his advice:
“Let your inspiration run wild at first. You can start narrowing things down afterwards.”
“Get professional guidance while staying true to your own instincts.”
“Be open and honest about your budget and limitations, so everyone can contribute ideas that work for you.”
“Browse and keep exploring. Don’t be put off by what you think might not be possible.”
“Don’t be afraid of last-minute changes. Catalogues change quickly.”
“Keep it enjoyable for yourselves. At some point, let go and trust the people guiding you.”
