Common skin problems caused by wrong make-up

What is mineral make-up?
First things first. What exactly does mineral make-up mean? A mineral make-up consists of four ingredients in different proportions, totalling 100 %. Winny explains to us exactly how the product is composed:
‘The first and most precious mineral is mica. Mica provides a unique glow and long-lasting coverage. The higher the percentage, the better the quality of the product. Bellapierre guarantees the sustainable extraction of this mineral through a fair trade label. The second mineral is iron dioxide, which provides different shades of colour. A third mineral is titanium dioxide, which guarantees an SPF of 15. If you apply a second layer, you build up an additional SPF of 10. This way, you build up the SPF further as desired. The last mineral is zinc oxide. This acts as an anti-inflammatory, avoids redness and prevents acne.’

Healthier for the skin
Mineral make-up is technically healthier than synthetic: ‘Synthetic ingredients, especially with long-term use, can disrupt the skin's natural balance and irritate the skin unnecessarily. In mineral make-up, no substances other than minerals are used. As a result, the likelihood of skin reaction is very low. Unlike commercial synthetic make-up, Bellapierre products do not contain bismuth oxychloride, talc, oils, additives, fillers and other toxic ingredients.’ They like to keep it clean.
Mineral cosmetics also preserve the skin's natural and fragile balance, stimulating its self-regulating powers. This is how you keep your body beautifully balanced.
Skin problems have gone for good
‘Bellapierre is two in one, because besides make-up, it is also a skincare product. Better still, Bellapierre even has a skin-enhancing effect. Frequently asked questions about mineral make-up
Does mineral make-up provide enough coverage?
Winny: ‘We often hear this question coming back. The answer is a resounding YES. Mineral make-up works as both concealer and foundation. Our Bellapierre primer even increases the coverage, extending it without ‘shining’. This is thanks to the powerful mica mineral. Synthetic make-up sometimes creates that typical, old-fashioned mask effect - and we don't want that,’ smiles Winny.
What about my contouring?
Bellapierre also has highlight and contour palettes in cream and powder form. ‘With these, you can play out your contours to your heart's content. Do you want to make your face visually slimmer, make your cheekbones stand out more... it's all possible!', explains Winny. You emphasise your most beautiful facial features easily and quickly.
Are there enough colours available?

Her top tips for brides?
‘On the day of your wedding, make sure you have an SOS kit. A ‘cosmetics survival kit’ as it were, containing the necessary lifesavers. Think powder, a kabuki brush, blush and lipstick or gloss. Certainly your lipstick will need to be reapplied from time to time - with all that kissing, eating and drinking!', she laughed. Also, ‘Less is more. In the beginning, many women tend to use too much make-up. Remember well that Bellapierres products are particularly high-quality. Therefore, it is better not to overdo it with the quantities. Start with little and then build up slowly.’
