Your wedding weekend, from arrival to honeymoon
Many couples choose to begin their wedding weekend on Friday. “They arrive, enjoy bar bites in our cozy bar - with live music on Friday! - and let the stress slip away even before the celebration begins,” says Nathalie Snauwaert of La Réserve Resort. Saturday is then entirely dedicated to the wedding celebration. “We start with a relaxed breakfast in the room or in the restaurant. Then the hair & make-up artist comes to the suite and the couple can get ready without any extra travel.”
After the party, no one has to go home right away. “On Sunday, it’s wonderful to wake up with breakfast in bed or in the restaurant, followed by a visit to the wellness area or a duo massage. Some brides and grooms, or guests, go out for a bit of shopping in Knokke or take a walk along the Zegemeer or the beach,” Nathalie adds.
Then you can set off smoothly on your honeymoon from the hotel. “We are located very close to Ostend Airport. Couples can leave by taxi - or perhaps even with our Bentley service or by helicopter! We arrange everything from the hotel.”

The culinary experience also receives special attention. “Our chefs prepare everything in-house, which allows for quick communication and complete personalization. Couples choose aperitifs and dishes that suit their taste. After confirmation, we are happy to organize a tasting dinner so that everything is perfect down to the last detail,” Nathalie explains.
The room setup can also be fully personalized. “We have our own furnishings, but couples are certainly welcome to choose other furniture or decorations according to their taste. That way, they can carry their style through every detail.”

What guests remember most is the atmosphere of refined calm and the elegant setting. Nathalie: “Our hotel has recently been renovated, with spacious rooms, modern design and views of the Zegemeer. You are within walking distance of the beach and the center of Knokke, which makes your wedding weekend completely complete.”
The personal approach also makes an impression. “Upon arrival, the guest’s name appears on the television screen in the room, for example. They are small details, but they make people feel welcome right away.”
