1. Choose Your Dream Destination
“Everything starts with choosing your travel destination,” says Olivier. “Do you have a bucket list full of countries you want to visit? Let the type of trip you want guide you and make a top three that you and your partner will enjoy. Beach, city, nature, or a mix of everything: your destination is the foundation for a successful trip. When making your decision, don't be overly influenced by family or friends and choose the country that makes your heart race.”

2. Create a Budget in Advance
Setting a budget and sticking to it can be quite a challenge when you're overwhelmed with activities available at your travel destination: “We recommend creating a budget before you start planning. Our experts will work with it to create the perfect trip within your desired budget. We tailor a honeymoon to meet your needs and ensure there are no unforeseen costs once you're on location.”

3. Choose a Realistic Timing
Once your budget is set and you’ve decided on the honeymoon location, planning can begin. It’s important to keep realistic timing in mind: “Many forget to adjust the length of their honeymoon to the needs of the destination,” Olivier explains. “A honeymoon in Iceland can be perfect in a week, but for a trip to Africa, you’ll need at least two weeks.”

4. Carefully Plan Your Activities
Olivier: “Going on a honeymoon is about celebrating your love, discovering new places, and gaining exclusive experiences and memories. Think of a zipline through Bali's stunning nature or an adventurous safari in Africa. These special activities make your honeymoon a unique experience.”

“Additionally, it's important to plan enough relaxation,” Olivier says. “There's often so much to do and see that couples forget to enjoy a quiet moment together. Consider a relaxing Thai massage, a romantic dinner at sunset in Namibia, or simply enjoying the beach together. When planning the honeymoon, we seek activities that suit you and ensure a good balance between action and relaxation.”

5. Pay Attention to Details
“When planning a honeymoon, the focus often lies on major activities, causing the small, personal details to be overlooked. It's nice to have your suite decorated, champagne ready on arrival, or flowers that add an extra romantic touch. A honeymoon isn’t a ready-made guide. It's a custom-made trip, a unique experience that deserves that little bit of extra attention,” Olivier smiles._
