Event Spaces

PUBLIKA offers two characterful rooms.

’t Verdiep

The bright event room on the first floor overlooks the Stadshal. The warm atmosphere, flexible furniture and separate bar create a beautiful setting for a reception or walking dinner for up to 100 guests. A full light and sound system is available.

De Nok

Under the authentic wooden beams lies De Nok, an intimate room for a ceremony or smaller gathering. The atmosphere is warm and full of character. The styling can be fully tailored to your preferences.

Terrace with a unique view

In good weather, the spacious terrace opposite the Stadshal is a standout feature. The view of the Stadshal and the Belfry gives every reception a typically Ghent backdrop.

Larger groups

Expecting more than 100 guests The group can easily move on to FABRIKA, the larger event venue by the same organiser near Dampoort station. This keeps your ceremony and reception in central Ghent, while giving your dinner and party plenty of space.

Catering

PUBLIKA provides fully in house catering, prepared by its own kitchen and hospitality team. From sharing dishes and walking dinners to apéro boards and dips. The team helps determine the right format for your reception or dinner. During the event, the Lucky Lemon hospitality team ensures warm and professional service.

Accommodation

There are several hotels and charming accommodations in the centre of Ghent, all within walking distance of PUBLIKA. This allows couples and guests to stay comfortably nearby.

Location

PUBLIKA is located at Goudenleeuwplein 1, directly opposite the Stadshal and just one minute from the City Hall. The venue is easily accessible thanks to several car parks in the area and excellent public transport connections. The terrace and event spaces are simple to reach for couples marrying in the city centre.
