A bold signet ring with an engraved message is also a great idea. Giving a simple wedding band as an engagement ring can absolutely work too. One option is to buy your boyfriend’s wedding band before the proposal, and then come back afterwards to possibly choose an engagement ring for yourself as well, along with a matching wedding band for you.”
