You Are Our Starting Point
- Café Costume is the place to be for a stylish custom suit that completely suits you: “When the bride or groom steps in, we start with an exploratory conversation," says Stefan. "Asking lots of questions is crucial as it helps us discover your preferences and understand the setting and theme of your wedding party. For example, if you opted for a bohemian wedding or are getting married on the beach, we'll know exactly which direction to go.”
Think About the Practicals
“When we dive into possible suits after the conversation, we notice that creating a custom suit differs for men and women. Women usually start with the shape of their suit, while men often begin with a color. However, women have it right,” Stefan smiles, “they immediately consider the practical side and first search for sizes and shapes that truly fit them. The color follows at a later stage. Many men, for instance, come in looking for a black tuxedo, only to leave with a practical wedding suit that truly suits them.”

Stefan: “We always listen to your wishes and adjust where needed, even when choosing the right fabric. Do you want a tweed suit and are getting married on a sunny day in Italian vineyards? Some fabrics are much more suitable for warmer temperatures. Together, we’ll find a fabric that feels pleasant and matches the season you’re getting married in.”
“As for color, I always advise sticking with soft colors for a wedding. They look more luxurious and of higher quality than bright colors. White remains very popular for women and is also gaining traction with men. Beige and other brown shades fit perfectly in this category. Furthermore, green remains a top choice and dark blue is making a comeback. An important sidenote is that these trends are there to inspire you; we always consider what suits you best,” says Stefan.

Once you’ve chosen every detail of your suit, it’s time to select accessories that complete your look. “We always advise clients to select a limited number of accessories. Too many items can distract from your suit, which would be a shame. A watch and possibly an extra ring are often enough to make your outfit shine.”
