Why foodsharing is so appealing
“Foodsharing works because it naturally creates interaction. Guests serve one another, talk more, and swap experiences about what they’re sharing. It makes the atmosphere more lively, homier, and less formal,” explains Alexia Turlot. This concept also brings all generations together around the same table: “From children to grandparents—everyone can take what they like best.”

A festive menu
At KTCHN, foodsharing often takes the form of a barbecue. “During the reception, you can use the barbecue as entertainment in itself. Then the generous platters arrive on the table: grilled fish, grilled meat, complemented with colorful salads and roasted vegetables, seasoned with herbs and spices,” Alexia says.
Thanks to talented chef Laure Genonceaux, winner of the Be Cheffe competition, the dishes get an extra kick and new flavor combinations. “Guests truly feel like they’re at one big festive table where everyone tastes, shares, and discovers.”

Seasonal togetherness
What makes foodsharing even more charming is how seamlessly it fits with seasonal produce. Alexia: “Large sharing dishes are always composed based on seasonal vegetables, fruit, and herbs. Each time of year has its own unique character, and that makes the wedding dinner even more authentic.”

Classic dinner or foodsharing?
Are you torn between a classic dinner or foodsharing? That choice mainly depends on the style you want. Alexia advises: “If you like a formal, structured dinner, it’s best to go for a more classic formula with table service. If, on the other hand, you’re dreaming of a lively, relaxed, and cozy atmosphere, foodsharing is the ideal solution.”
