‘Real beauty comes from within’. Indeed, real beauty is in the expression in your eyes, while saying your yes. Real beauty is in the emotions you feel and in the happiness you radiate. Love yourself and glow with confidence! Every bride wants to be the most beautiful version of herself on her wedding day. A natural bridal make-up that suits your character and personality can lend a hand to that.

How do you do it, create such a natural look? We will help you on your way with these 12 tips!

1. Prepare your skin by exfoliating a few days before your wedding. Exfoliating your face will remove dead skin cells, giving your skin a beautiful glow.

2. Beautiful skin is well-hydrated skin. Use a skincare suited to your skin type. Don't forget your eye cream!

3. A primer fills in fine lines and makes sure your make-up stays on all day long. Great for a natural look are primers with light-reflecting particles, giving your skin a radiant glow.

4. Rather not have a thick layer of foundation on your skin? Then opt for a BB cream or a light foundation such as Teint Couture Balm by Givenchy or Terracotta Joli Teint Foundation by Guerlain.

5. Brighten the area under your eyes for a brighter look. For this, do not use overly opaque concealers but rather opt for a more creamy or liquid texture. These lighter textures do not creep into the fine lines of the thin skin around the eyes.

6. Rather choose a blush in cream form. This is easy to blend into the skin and gives a natural effect.

7. Powder only where necessary. A shiny T-zone does not look pretty in a photo!

8. Eyebrows are the soul of your face. If you don't want Instabrow, a coloured brow gel is a good choice. Benefit has a nice selection of quality eyebrow products and a wide choice of colours.

9. Let your eyes do the talking! Eye shadow is the way to emphasise your eye colour. Brown shades are suitable for any eye colour and create a natural look that still stands out. Mascara is a must! It creates that seductive eye look your groom won't be able to resist....

10. With a natural bridal make-up comes natural lips. Opt for nude, soft pink or peach shades and finish with a gloss if necessary. Don't forget to bring your gloss for quick touch-ups throughout the day.

11. For an extra fresh and fruity effect, use a highlighter on your cheek and collarbones. Instant glow guaranteed!

12. If desired, you can add a sun-kissed finish with a bronzer. The bronzer of choice is Guerlain's iconic Terracotta powder. Don't overdo it, apply the bronzer in a three-shape: just above your eyebrow, under your cheekbone and on the jawline.
