A contemporary culinary vision
“The vision of KTCHN is simple: to offer a cuisine that is respectful and rooted in its time. We work as much as possible with local and Belgian producers—for vegetables, fruit, and drinks too—such as Paola Cola or other Belgian alcohol-free alternatives,” says Alexia. In this way, KTCHN reduces its ecological footprint while also supporting the local economy.

Seasonal produce as the foundation
KTCHN always tailors its wedding menus to the season. Alexia: “We never deviate from that. In summer, tomatoes, zucchini, eggplants, and red berries really come into their own, bringing freshness and color to the table. In winter, we put pumpkin, mushrooms, and root vegetables front and center. They’re richer, heartwarming, and perfect for creating a cozy winter atmosphere at your wedding celebration.”
This approach guarantees more intense flavors: “A product harvested and prepared at the right time has ten times more flavor than a product grown out of season and served on the table.”

Growing demand from couples
Today, more and more couples are consciously choosing a seasonal, local, and sustainable cuisine. “It’s a generation that asks questions about where products come from, the ecological impact of a wedding, and food waste. They don’t just want delicious food—they also want to be able to enjoy it in a conscious and responsible way,” Alexia emphasizes.
At KTCHN, vegetables are also the stars of the plate. Thanks to this approach, there is a suitable offering for every diet or preference—whether vegetarian, vegan, flexitarian, or other eating habits.

In tune with the wedding atmosphere
Beyond its sustainable values, this cuisine also creates genuine seasonal cohesion throughout the wedding celebration. Alexia: “Serving a menu that follows the seasons also means creating harmony with the decor and the atmosphere of the day. In autumn, for example, on the island of Chalet Robinson filled with autumn colors, a pumpkin-based dessert fits much better than red berries. That creates a natural continuity and an authentic experience for the couple and their guests.”
Flavor, cohesion, and respect for nature thus form the common thread in every KTCHN wedding menu.
