In 2017, romantic weddings were all about powder pink and nude tones. Natural makeup with peachy cheeks and elegant lip gloss for a soft and natural look. A fairytale wedding dress with lace accents for a dreamy look and a pastel-colored bridal bouquet. Utterly magical and elegant!

2. Food sharing

• Food sharing has come over from the trendy restaurant world and will remain trendy in the coming year! Put those pots and pans on the table for the most convivial approach to your wedding catering! Meat, fish, or vegetarian, anything goes. Nothing is as delicious as sharing a meal with the people you love.

  3. Getting married in a festival atmosphere

  In 2017, celebrations revolved around togetherness and coziness. And what could be cozier than hosting your summer wedding festival-style? Think of an outdoor party with various food trucks, your favorite live music, that breathtaking boho wedding dress, an invitation in the form of a festival ticket, and lanterns to accompany you as you dance the night away.

  4. Spending the night in a tent

  Another original trend: let your guests spend the night in a tent! Not only is it very charming, but no one has to drive home after your wedding party. Make it romantic and create a tent village with teepees and string lights. Enjoy a cozy breakfast together the morning after. An experience you'll never forget!

  Enjoy a little more time with friends and family and turn your wedding party into a whole party weekend! Go out with your guests and enjoy a fantastic mini-vacation in your own country. The wedding party of your dreams in a fairytale castle or a rural farmhouse? A stylish weekend you'll never forget!

  6. Greenery

  Last year, it was all about the Pantone color Greenery! A fresh yellow-green lime color that brings us back to nature. For your bridal bouquet, table decorations, your wedding stationery: greenery represents the feeling of spring, a lush revival of Mother Nature after winter. A trend that can also be combined perfectly with nude and pastel shades.

  7. Balloons

  Say it with... balloons! These trendy eye-catchers come in the cutest shapes and original colors, letters, and numbers. A golden balloon garland at your wedding party, as a fun extra with your wedding invitation, an original decoration for the guest table, or as a cute accessory for the flower girls.

  8. Black and dark colors

  A striking trend in 2017: brides got married in black last year. We saw black with flowers on the catwalk at Valentino, a graceful look for the daring. Wedding dresses with a dark-colored floral print or a similarly inspired wedding bouquet were also in the picture. Or how about full darkred lips as the ultimate eye-catcher?

  

  9. Flower power

  In 2017, we went back to nature, including in flower and green decorations at your wedding! Think of the bohemian look where flowers are picked straight from the field, a lush bouquet with forgotten flowers such as dahlias as an alternative to the classic rose. But also lots of greenery in the wedding styling and even trendy effects with hanging plants and flower walls. This trend will undoubtedly continue in 2018, so go wild!

  10. Velvet

  Velvet, the warm and colorful fabric, remains very fashionable this winter! It has a luxurious look and colors such as deep red, ochre yellow, and cobalt blue really come into their own. Velvet can be incorporated into your bow tie, but also in the bow around your wedding invitations, that velvet lounge chair at your wedding ceremony, or how about a Red Velvet cake?
