Various brands and designers from all over the world have once again released their latest bridal fashion collections. The designers seem to have a clear vision for the 2024 trends—and it has to be said: they’ve approached them with exceptional creativity! Discover the wedding dress trends for 2024 here to shine in style on your wedding day...
1. Sustainable
More and more people are becoming aware of the impact the fashion industry has on the environment. In bridal fashion too, sustainability is central today. Wedding dresses are increasingly made using sustainable materials that have minimal impact on the environment. Organic cotton, linen, bamboo, and recycled fabrics are therefore frequently incorporated into wedding dresses.

To stay within an eco-friendly vibe, many designers drew inspiration from nature itself. In the 2024 wedding dress trends, we therefore see a lot of floral motifs. Wedding dresses with floral lace, wedding dresses with 3D flowers, wedding dresses made from floral-patterned fabrics—anything is possible!

3. Bohemian
Bohemian fashion is also making a comeback. This style is inspired by the 60s and 70s, which symbolized freedom and creativity. Loose, comfortable wedding dresses will definitely be part of 2024, featuring airy skirts and flowing fabrics.

4. Jumpsuits
- Jumpsuits are hugely popular again—and they’re super comfortable. You’ll find them in all kinds of styles, and they can be fully designed to match your personal taste! Dare to be different!

After the comeback of the 80s in the 2023 wedding dress trends, we’re seeing more 90s influences for 2024. The demand for slip dresses and gloves has never been higher. Strapless dresses, bustiers, and even sweetheart necklines are trendy again. We’re also seeing more and more “floral corsages” (dresses with 3D flowers), thin scarves, and unexpected fabrics such as liquid silk, jacquard, or burnout velvet—all nods to the 90s.

Wedding dresses with voluminous sleeves—just like in 2023—are still completely in! Designers experimented again this year with a variety of sleeve designs. Puff sleeves and bishop sleeves are especially popular—sleeves that widen from the shoulder and narrow at the wrist. They add an extra dramatic touch to your wedding dress.
Veils are also fully back in for 2024—especially richly decorated veils, for example with pearls or silk flowers, are very popular.
Alongside veils, other “separate pieces” you can add to your outfit are also gaining popularity. Detachable sleeves, long gloves, overskirts, and organza jackets—which you can all put on and take off for a slightly different look—are very on-trend.

To keep that more rebellious flair, many unique and asymmetrical cut-outs are being incorporated into wedding dresses—for a more edgy look. For brides who like a little skin, dresses with a high slit or deep V-neck are ideal and incredibly fashionable. Larger lace prints and sheer details are also on-trend.

Who says you absolutely have to get married in a long dress? Short wedding dresses are a key wedding dress trend for 2024. There is especially strong demand for short dresses for the civil ceremony or the dance party. Short wedding dresses are perfect for brides looking for a playful look!

Color also remains a growing wedding dress trend in 2024. Soft pink, ice blue, nude, and gray are especially hip and trendy. But bolder shades such as red and black are also appearing in the new collections! This can be a fun way to match the theme of your wedding.

Or do you prefer a softer, romantic look? In the 2024 wedding dress trends, we’re also seeing many “delicate” wedding dresses. These use delicate fabrics such as tulle and lace. These wedding dresses often feature subtle details such as beautiful embroidery, sheer fabrics, or embedded beads and sequins.

Do you prefer to keep it simple? No worries—minimalist wedding dresses are also part of the 2024 wedding dress trends and are completely timeless! A clean dress without too many embellishments and with a sleek design remains incredibly popular. These wedding dresses are often made from smooth, elegant fabrics such as satin or silk.
