Trend 1: Two-in-one
You can create two different looks with the same dress. For example, wear a lace vest over your strapless bodice, which you can take off after the ceremony or before the evening party. Or detach your long, wide skirt and go for a short evening dress.

Trend 2: Soft shades
White is no longer the only color for your wedding dress, and champagne and ivory have been featured in collections for some time now. But from 2017 onwards, soft shades such as pink, nude, blush, and light gold will also be indispensable. Romantic!

Trend 3: Deep V-neck
A V-neck flatters every bride. In 2017, we see bodices and dresses with a deep V-neck, sometimes finished with lace. Sexy, but also very stylish.

Trend 4: Sheer & Lace
Romantic, classic, vintage, short or long. Lace appears in every style and is incorporated into low backs, beautiful shoulders, long sleeves, part of your bodice or your skirt. In different layers on top of each other or simple and subtle. Feeling daring? Go for a transparent lace dress.

Trend 5: Spotlight on your back
In 2017, your back is in the spotlight. A deep cut gives even the simplest dress that little bit extra. Or go for a ‘tattoo effect’, an open back of transparent tulle, embellished with lace, romantic buttons, and glittering stones.

Trend 6: Simple & supple
Do you like simple and beautiful? In 2017, you will find plenty of wedding dresses with a simple cut and in supple, smooth fabrics such as satin, crepe, and chiffon that perfectly follow the contours of your body. Without appliqués, bows, and frills.

Trend 7: Cropped tops
We've already seen them popping up on the streets: short, loose tops that reveal a bit of your midriff. These tops, usually made of lace, are now also finding their way into bridal fashion. Not for everyone, but very special.

Trend 8: Boho chic
Influences from the 1970s with a touch of chic, that's Bohemian Chic or Boho chic. Airy, loose dresses, simple silhouettes with fine details in lace or embroidery. For wedding parties at a beautiful outdoor location such as the beach, the woods, or an orchard. Beautiful in combination with a hat, a flower crown, or even barefoot!

Trend 9: Sleeve wow!
Long sleeves, three-quarter sleeves, or cap sleeves, usually in lace. Sleeves will be seen throughout 2017, not just during the cooler months. We are also seeing wedding dresses with a blouse bodice made of supple chiffon and loose-fitting, wide long sleeves.
